I bought this knife from amazon over a year ago and it's still as sharp as the day I received it.Great balanced knife.Feels good in your hand.I've used this knife every day.And it will be in the family for along time.This will be the last knife you will have to buy.Worth every penny.

Everyone is aware of the whole chef/knife relationship. This knife, however, takes the cake for me. The angle of the handle, the construction, edge retention, ease of honing and sharpening due to the abbreviated bolster, etc... this knife has it all, especially for the pricepoint!

That said, nearly everything about Guy Fieri's sense of style is a mystery to me. However, the man, together with Ergo Chef, have put out a fantastic knife.
