This is exactly what we were looking for, a chef's knife that we can use for chopping that is sharp and will not hurt our knuckles. It has a perfect balance and did I say it was sharp? It is super sharp. And best of all, with the handle it has, it can go into the dishwasher. This is everything we needed in a Chef's knife at a very reasonable price.
