This board is likely to slip around on a counter, so placing something underneath might be necessary. I have mine butting up against bottles so it stays in place that way.
Thus far, this a most excellent cutting board, easy on my knives, with the added plus that it can be put in the dish machine.I've had this cutting board for about a year and a half now and I love it. It still looks beautiful, it's easy to clean, and it doesn't mess up my knives. I only put it in the dishwasher occasionally (if I use it to cut meat) as the dishwasher does dry it out a bit. Usually just a soapy dishcloth and a rinse and it's perfect.

I bought another, thicker and larger bamboo cutting board at the same time and I use it more, but this one is very handy to grab and take to my stove area to chop things quickly. It is lightweight, but not at all fragile. The bamboo is much better than regular cutting boards, and I love that they are a quickly renewable resource. The bamboo doesn't seem to soak up liquid the way regular cutting boards do, and it looks a lot better. I love chopping on these bamboo cutting boards. They don't get splits from my knives, and the surface is much more dense and less porous! Everyone who has seen them in my kitchen loves the way they look and asks where I got them. The only thing I would say about this, is pay attention to the measurements of this one, as it is definitely smaller than my other board.Read Best Reviews of Totally Bamboo Greenlite Bamboo Cutting Board Here
I've used this board for a couple months now and it is great. It is thin, which makes it light weight and easy to move around and store. I like that is doesn't have the trough around the edge like other boards because I like to slide cut veggies off the board directly to the pan. The cut out hole makes it easy to pick up as well. All in all it's a great cutting board.Want Totally Bamboo Greenlite Bamboo Cutting Board Discount?
It's all you would want in a cutting board:* Lightweight: very easy to handle.
* Practical: I like to hang it to dry by the hole.
* Durable: it didn't scratch, or bend or warp with the washings.
* Hygenic: the bamboo supposedly kills germs naturally and is more hygenic than plastics.
* Easy to take care of: easy to clean, and you can even put this in the dishwasher.
* Ecological: made of sustainable bamboo.
* Nice looking: I love the color, the texture, and the shape of it.
The only downside I can think of is that you might have to treat it with oil every few months to restore its color. It only takes a minute.
