Too much bladeplay. Pin construction prevents me from tightening it. Almost doesn't function as a bottle opener. On the plus side, it is TSA friendly, and won't hurt your wallet too much if a TSA agent decides that it isn't.

I got this as a gag gift for my friend which he quite enjoyed. We both clumsily tried to open it up several times, it provided minutes, minutes I say! Of fun. Then we opened about 20 beers with it and it sturdily opened each and every one without issue. I recommend this gift to the guy who thinks he has everything, but clearly doesnt have a butterfly "knife" bottle opener.

This is my first/only bottlefly knife. It works as a bottle opener just fine, but the joints are very loose from day 1, allowing a lot of play in the "blade". In fact, so much so that it will sometimes strike the handle as you are trying to close it and stay in a semi-open position. The latch is also very loose when the blade is open, sometimes getting in the way when closing it. I had a regular balisong trainer, and that one served its purpose after weeks of practice much better than this one has from day 1.

Recommended for people who are balisong fans and beer drinkers and just want some novelty fun. Not recommended for people who actually want to practice balisong use.
