If you want a lettuce knife, look for a different one. Unless the head of lettuce is very leafy, it is a struggle to get thru it.

If you've never had a lettuce knife and you just can imagine why you'd want one...try this one! It's so much easier than tearing up all that darn lettuce and the lettuce doesn't get brown like it would with a metal knife. I bought this one for my mom and she loves it.

After reading other reviews I thought this knife would cut easily through lettuce but not so much. It did great on the heavy areas of the head but when trying to cut any of the individual parts I actually bruised the leaves trying to cut through them. So it does help with the turning brown but bruised lettuce isn't very appetizing either.....
