Got this item the other day and right out of the package I could feel the grip of this and it was real comfortable in my hand. It had a nice edge out of the box and feels really good. I recommended this item.***UPDATE***
I change the star rating due to the blade having little nicks in the edge. I really don't understand how it happened. I only butcher large cuts of meat up with no bones in it.
