Pardon the pun...but plastic knives just weren't cutting it anymore @ lunch...literally. Bought this for several reasons:

1. Reviews on Amazon mixed but worth the risk. Used it right away on a stuffed chicken breast. Pretty smooth slicing.

2. Price $6.15 + prime shipping can't be beat. Cheaper than what I could find in stores.

This is a great knife for the price, but it comes in a sealed clamshell of very thick, strong plastic, and the knife is NOT in its safety shield -I cut my hand on the plastic shards as I was struggling to open the package, and as I flinched the point of the knife poked me. Not big injuries but unreasonably difficult dangerous packaging.
