A wire cheese cutter like this is great for cutting soft cheese to avoid a knife sticking to the cheese. This wire is too long, though. The wire bends upeard in the middle, held up by the cheese. I have to use it on the corner of a cutting board, bringing the frame down below the surface of the board in order to cut completely through the cheese. I would much prefer a smaller wire cutter.
