Chicago Cutlery DesignPro Santoku Knives, 7-Inch

This knife is fantastic. At first I thought I wouldn't like the handle on this knife as I'm used to wood handles. Turns out this was a great fit, I have small hands so sometimes my hands get tired when doing a lot of chopping but the grip on the knife was great and easy to hold and use without having to put too much pressure on it. As a pastry chef we don't use our knives as much as savory chefs but this knife is truly great, food slides right off the knife instead of sticking to the blade and it's SUPER sharp.

We love this knife. It is heavyweight and very sharp. The grip and feel is well balanced and easy to use whether deboning a cut of meat or slicing through a cooked brisket it performs very well. While the plastic cover is ok, we threw that away and have it stored in a drawer wooden block. We are gradually replacing all of our kitchen knives with this brand. We just wish that their scissors didn't have those protrusions below the handle (or we'd buy them too).
