This is a great flatware set for anyone that enjoys the Southwestern motif. It's a nice sturdy weight and feels good in your hand. I've had this set for about twenty years while raising three sons into adulthood, it has really stood the test of time. I don't handwash, everything goes into the dishwasher. It still looks as good today as when I bought the set. I paid several hundred dollars for this set because it was so unusual and different from everything else on the market. I'm actually surprised to see it priced at such a bargain, it's a great deal for the money and a great quality product.
BUT, I don't know about the new Wallace Taos (18/0--That's Eighteen/Zero Alloy) that is being advertised here. I would ask before buying if they are stainless, and maybe even ask if they are non-reactive like stainless...
