Oneida Satin Garnet 65-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 12

We received both the stainless steel flatware set and the Wallace Dark Walnut 15" Single Chest in the same box. They were packed well and arrived in great shape and in the time promised. We had seen this flatware set in a local department store, but were pleasantly surprised that it was even more beautiful than we remembered. One of the main reasons we chose this particular set is that it is rated 5 on a weight scale of 1 to 5. All the others that we considered, even some much more expensive, were rated as 3 and 4 on the weight scale. We wanted something that would never bend in everyday use. Believe me, this won't. We love the heft and thickness of the pieces. If you like something substantial and simply elegant with a satin finish and shiny edge, you will love this set. We will be using it with pride.

I bought this set a few months ago. After running it through dishwasher cycles and other abuse it still looks great. It is heavy to the hand but..just right to me. Very clean simple appearence. I have thanked myself many times for this purchase but...Not as many times as I kicked myself for not upgrading the "flatware" a long time ago!

Money well spent.

I have owned this exact set for 4 years now. I never regret it. The best silver wear i've seen in a home, better than most restuarants carry, your family and friends will be asking about it once they feel and use it. This is the 18/10 heavy strong stainless forged collection. It will not bend, does not fade, looks brand new use after use. I love it. I bought a "damaged box" set for $80. The corner of the cardboard box was damaged a bit, like someone dropped it, but everything was in mint condition, can't pass that price up. Buy this set and feel good about using it forever with no regrets, impress everybody who uses it. Amazing quality

I am so disappointed in this Oneida silverware. It's a lovely pattern. But, I've had it less than one month, and already a couple of the knives have little rust spots on them, the finish on some of the spoons has dones something weird. My last and only set of every day stainless Oneida lasted over 30 years. I guess they really don't make things like they used to.

I bought this set over five years ago from Amazon and it still looks great. We use it daily and always clean in the dishwasher. Other than the normal lite scratching from banging together you could not tell from new. I am now buying a set for my daughter for Christmas by her request. Exellent weight, feel, and durability. Also this is the 18/10 stainless not the much cheaper 18/00. Buy it and smile at every use! As always Amazons value cannot be beat.
