Evenly weighted. It's as if they were designed by a circus knife thrower. Heavy and solid. Really FEELS like a knife in your hand. Excellent product for everyday use.

Works very well to cut fruits and Med. to soft veggies with Swedish cutting board. Especially helpful if you only have use of one hand and need to indepentantly cut foods. Definitely more cutting power than the standard Knorks, which are also very helpful, but more so for cutting, and eating cooked foods.Very happy they clean well in the dishwasher.

If you are not familiar with Knork products, you should be. The silverware sets are fantastic. After using the silverware for a couple of years, we decided to purchase the 4 piece knife set. We ordered them on Nov. 22 and didn't receive them until three weeks later.I realize that, as a Prime member, I am spoiled (this shipment did not qualify for Prime.) To top it all off, we ordered three, not one, sets for Christmas gifts. When the set arrived yes, you guessed it; received only one set (even though the shipping label said there were three sets in the box. The weight alone (of only one pound) should have alerted the shipper to a problem. When I called "As seen on Tv" they apologized and promised to send the other two sets out immediately, priority handling. Well, I'm still waiting, a week later, for my other two sets.

Bottom line: the product is great. The service is not!
