Zyliss Lettuce Knife

I originally bought this to cut cheesecake in a non-stick springform pan. It surprised me at how well it cut the cheesecake slices just like a traditional sharp knife but without damaging the non-stick surface.

So now I use it whenever I need to cut anything in ANY of my non-stick pans, cookie sheets, whatever. This knife is amazingly great and quite useful. No worries with cutting anything in a non-stick pan since it won't cut into the non-stick surface.

BTW, I haven't tried cutting lettuce with it.

I purchased these knives for the kids' cooking classes that I teach. They cut great and are kid safe. The only thing I didn't like is that they are a little slippery on a plastic cutting board. On a wood board, they are a great kid-safe knife.

I never knew you weren't supposed to cut lettuce with metal knives so when I bought my "lettuce saver" tupperware and read that in the review for that item I decided to go ahead and buy this...it was cheap anyways. I was pleasantly surprised. I actually bought a 2nd for my boyfriend (and the lettuce saver too!)
