She soaked it in the sink!!This is a huge no-no with wooden boards> So I ordered her a new one. Every kitchen should have one of these. It makes chopping a breeeze with very little cleanup. It is also very hard to cut yourself with this blade.

This ULU is fantastic. And the bowl is beautiful and the indent in it works great while slicing whatever you want. The ULU is very sharp and I was able to cut through frozen beef liver (for my dogs) so I didn't have to defrost the whole package to make individual portions. Great item for general slicing.
