Nice finish, monogram was attractive, it just feels cheap, will do fine for everyday use, I expected more for the price. I bought two sets for Christmas gifts now I feel I need to buy something else to go with it... just does not look like I spent the money.

My parents have had this set for nearly 20 years -my mother bought it from a now-defunct catalog order company. This product is available through many sources online, but this is the best price I have seen. My parents have had for 20 years, and it still looks great -a little duller and darker than my brand new set, but still very beautiful. Yes, it is lightweight, but very durable and beautiful. My parents have 4 sets -2 for every day use (these are the ones that are a little less shiny now) and two they used for special occassions.I always loved this set when my family and I would go back home to visit my parents -always made me unsatisfied with my set. My mother recently died, so I finally decided to get a set of my own, and now every time I get out some silverware, it reminds me of my mom (and dad) just a little bit.I gave this set to a cousin for a wedding gift. The silverware with engraving was so nice, I'd like to have a set of my own.

I bought this for two reasons. One I needed some. But second I found a good deal in the warehouse deals. It was monogrammed. I didn't know. But it is nice quality. And they don't bend easy.
