I've had this knife for about 7 years and it is still as sharp as the day I got it. I'm a big sucker for hearty artisan boules and french loaves and this cuts through all of them. Just here picking up a new one for a friend. Did I say that I love it? Because I love it.
I purchased this knife several years ago on a recommendation that "You don't want to spend a lot of money on bread knives". So, I went to a department store, and found this one. Three years later, it is just as good. The stainless steel handle looks sharp, it cuts through bread cleanly and beautifully, and its weight is perfect. I highly recommend it.
