New 13" Long Farberware Specialty Kitchen Knife Frozen Food Knife 8" Blade

I am extremely disappointed in this knife. I bought it to try to cut frozen casseroles into smaller portions for cooking. I am not sure what frozen food it is capable of cutting, but it most certainly does not cut frozen casseroles. It did not even begin to make a cut in the edge of the casserole, and is of no use to me. If the food must be thawed to use the knife, that defeats the purpose of a frozen food knife. I should have read more reviews before I ordered it.

For the price it is what I was looking for. I use it to cut frozen salmon. It was a good deal.

Used it on frozen bacon that I forgot to defrost. Cut through it like it wasn't frozen!! Great!! Will use again, I'm sure.

It is a good strong knife I was hoping it could do more, but I think I expected too much. It cuts frozen meat well, but not a pound of hamburger.
