Messermeister Pumpkin Meister Carving Kit

THe scooper is decent for getting the pumpkin seeds and stuff out. The other tools are so-so. You're far better off buying a cheap $5 Xacto knife set for doing any real pumpkin carving. The set isn't bad...just overpriced for what it is and doesn't offer any tool for fine cuts.

Well at least the metal parts of the tools stayed in tact. After carving two pumpkins and onto the third the blade dislocated at the hilt same thing happened with the right angle tool. Had the description of the item said that the tools are actually two parts I wouldn't have bought it. The description says high quality, I disagree, if that were the case then the metal part would be one with the handle and not some cheaply grooved plastic edges that keep the two parts together inside the top of the handle.

The scraper was great. The wedge tool wasn't that useful, only for cutting the top, and that was difficult. The knife was okay, kind of flimsy, but there were no tools that would help cut smaller details and we broke a lot of pieces due to the large knife. I would buy another kit I had the chance.
