Surprised wife with knife. She hides it from the others in house. Does a good job and so far holds edge. Checked out more expensive knives. This ended up being best bang for buck.

I don't think anyone could possibly make a better choice in a high quality chef's knife at this price. It's perfectly weighted and balanced and became my favorite as soon as I'd used it. The machining and heavy duty contruction is fantastic. It looks nice too, the pictures really don't do it justice. "I can't say enough good about the quality of this item." Highly recomend this, but watch your fingers because it's bad ass sharp!
