Joseph Joseph Elevate Knives Carousel Set with Rotating Knife Block, 6-Piece

I bought this exact same set on Woot for half the price it is here when it was the home woot of the day, and I love them. First of all, these knives are super sharp. As I am a very clumsy cook, my hands can attest to their sharpness. :P Another nice thing is the coating which makes them VERY easy to wipe off. Nothing sticks to these suckers at all.

I was half expecting the carousel to be flimsy, so I was pleasantly surprised. It is put together well and holds the knives firmly in place. There is also a little lip on the outer edge that helps with that. If you're like me, clumsy, then you tend to cut yourself when you venture into the knife drawer. This keeps that from happening.

I threw away all of my mismatched knives a couple days after receiving this in the mail. I love them so much that if anything ever happens to them that I would gladly pay this price for them.

These knives couldn't have come at a better time for my girlfriend and I. We like to cook a lot, and I've been using the same old knife I bought years ago. Without a proper set, I've been using it for everything (much to my displeasure), and now being able to use this set I'm able to use the right knife for a specific job. The knives are very well made, with an attractive dark metal, and the magnetic carousel makes me feel comfortable leaving it out on the countertop; I never have to worry about them. ...LOVE this product, and for the price, you get more value than you would elsewhere. The knives are awesome. I use three of them almost daily, and I love the fact that you can set them down without the blade touching a counter surface. The carousel is probably what made this four stars instead of five. While I like the hidden magnetic ability that allows the knives to click into space, it does take more effort to line up the knive with a long vertical slot as opposed to just dropping it into a knife block.

This is really cute knives set. I love Joseph Joseph designs.

But, the knives don't have the top quality.

Actually they don't cut that well.. so I wouldn't recommend this unless you are just buying for decoration or something.
