A 7" Santoku and 1/2 thick cutting board for this price is unheard of so I wasn't expecting much but when it arrived in a nice protective package and the knife had a nice smooth handle and was sharp and the cutting board was smooth I was impressed. I gave the knife a quick honing and washed everything and whipped up a salad in no time at all. I hung it on the wall since the magnet in the board holds the knife in case it tips and it looks great.
