Scanpan Spectrum Utility Knife, 3-1/2-Inch, Yellow

I was truly impressed with how they cut. The edge has kept for over a year. My mother needed new knives and I did not hesitate to buy them at all. I like this product a lot.

I normally use a chef's knife for all my cooking but recently used this pairing knife to fillet a pacific rock fish since it was too small to use a regular 8" knife. I had owned this pairing knife for about 4 months already but rarely used it (maybe 2x a week for cutting apples). When trying to fillet the rock cod, the edge was so dull I could not make clean cuts at all into the flesh and ended ruining the fillet and being forced to throw away most of the fish. Although this knife comes with a rubberized grip and cover, I would not recommend it based on the poor quality of the blade.
