We were pleased with slicers appearance and how easily it sliced thru the many cheeses we buy. And it looks good sitting on our butcher block table.

The unit could align better, it tries to cut off to the left of guide line at the outer end when cutting cheese. It does not appear to have an easy way of adjusting the tension on the wire. The holding Phillips head screw for holding the outside arm in place easily got damaged when trying to take the cutting mechanism for cleaning. I would not buy this product again.
