
But the quality of the machining is nothing you'd usually notice while using it during a meal, as long as you accept that this isn't meant to be fine flatware. It looks better than it really is; and it's fine for the purpose I have in mind. It's nicely designed visually; the large spoon is quite large and suitable for use as a soup spoon, and it dresses up the rest of the set. The small spoon is indeed demitasse size. Well, OK; Europeans aren't known for big puddingy desserts, so this goes well with an espresso and a piece of dark chocolate. Or a cup of tea. I would not pay more than about $50-60 for a set of 24, but that's a decent deal for a set of six place settings and will allow us to stretch our existing flatware for a crowd with some style, and without resorting to disposable plastic flatware from the grocery store. Will go well with our Heath dishes and neutral table linens.
