I assumed these were made in the USA (like Fiesta plates, mugs, bowls, etc.), but they are made in China. Not such a big deal since I'm actually eating off of the metal part (no lead paint issues), but still would have liked to buy American.In any case, I love this cutlery. It's solid, without being too heavy, and the part that you eat off of is nice and thick (I had some IKEA flatware that was too thin on the spoon edges and I always felt like I was going to cut my mouth eating off of them).
It is a little bulky, but that is evident by the picture. It has a rounded handle, so it will take up more room in your flatware drawer than other flat pieces because of this. Still, it's nice to have some splashes of color (in our case, we bought several different colors to mix and match).
One problem: one of the spoons already has a rust spot on it. We haven't washed them in the dishwasher or used soap with lemon scents (this is advised against on the instructions for Fiesta knives/cutlery so we assumed it was the same for the flatware). I am still giving them 5 stars, assuming this will be replaced by the 25-year limited warranty (especially because these are only a few weeks old). Will report back if I have any issues getting the spoon replaced.
