Zyliss Chef's Knife, 7-1/2-InchI got this knife because I am very familiar with the zyliss line of products they are all great. This knife works really well for chopping since it has a slight round edge on the bottom of the blade. In addition to the knife i got the knife sharpener from zyliss which also great too.

Almost no knives are sharp enough for me. A sharp knife is a god-send. The knife I received for my bar-kit was as sharp as most knives out there, but I pulled out my sharpening kit in hopes of making it to my standards. With no effort, it gained the sharpness I wanted and *held* that sharpness.

The sheath stays on without a problem, so I can dispense with the clunky old knife and hand-made box in the bar kit, therefore saving on weight and room. Well worth the money.

I got it from local store. It's very sharp and light better than Kuhn Rikon knife I've got. One knife enough to do all the cutting work

I love Zyliss knives. This one is no different from the others that I have: great grip, super sharp and cleans easily. I do like having the sleeve for it, too.

A warning, though, when using this and any other Zyliss knife -they all are extremely sharp (thus my love for them). Always use on a cutting board and cut or chop down and away from your fingers. Otherwise, you'll be visiting your doctor's office!

I've been looking for a chef's knife that remains sharp for a long time. Zyliss makes it. I use this knife for everything... cutting tomatoes, cutting bread etc etc etc. I had tried other kitchen knives that do not do the job that this knife does.
