Waterford Cake Knife & Server Set

This product is advertised as being made in Ireland. The box is marked

"Made in Germany". The description of the box is a "white Moire with satin lining and a ribbon with a gift card". I received a plain unlined black box with the product wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap. Overall deceptive, if not false, advertising by Amazon. I made my purchase based on the information that the product was "Made in Ireland' and that the box it came in was suitable for a gift box. Hugely disappointed with Amazon and I am not sure I would trust them with another purchase.

The cake knife and server set were beautiful. They came packaged in an "heirloom box" , but they were wrapped in wrinkled tissue paper and loose in the box. That was a surprize. It seemed the insides of the box were missing. Nevertheless, the items were great.

When my wife found this on the Waterford website they were sold out. She was so disappointed she had finally found a cake serving set she liked for our wedding. We were so happy when we found out that Amazon had a few in stock. They are absolutely beautiful and we love the swan heads on them that shape like a heart. It's definitely something you can pass.
