Like all Victorinox knives, this guy is extremely sharp. This smaller paring knife is great for fine work, like coring quartered apples. Also, the blade is quite thin, which helps when trimming broccoli or peeling potatoes. Great knife.

Whenever I reach for a knife, I find that I seem to prefer this one (or one of the 4 inch versions). Victorinox makes a great series of knives; all of them seem sharper, better in the hand, and just pleasanter to use.
