I love this avocado peeler! It's one of those items I wish I'd found years ago. It's perfect for getting the avocado out of the skin in good shape. It does what I used to attempt with a spoon, often making a huge mess of the avocado. I use this for a lot more than just peeling. I'll cut the avocado in half using the sharp (but not super sharp) edge of the peeler, then slide the main part of the peeler between the skin and 'meat' of the avocado to get a half. Or, once it's cut in half I'll gently slice or even cube the 'meat' of it while it's still in the skin, then slide this peeler under each piece. As long as the avocado's in good shape, this peeler makes it so easy to get nice slices, pre-cut the avocado for guacamole, or even eat it slice by slice right out of the skin.
