Mundial W5627-12E 12-Inch Serrated Edge Slicing Knife

Nice size, was replacing an old knife that we loved and this was a perfect choice for us. It is big, so you have to want that/

I also have a Mundial curved serrated bread knife. The serrations are a little different and it's not quite as easy to be straight with the cut.

If you want something that slices home-made bread perfectly straight with ease, this is it. I almost got one of those slicer guides but it's so easy to be good at slicing bread with this knife, I don't really need one. Also, the bread stays fresher if I don't slice it ahead of time.

I've had mine about 5 years or so. It is still slices pretty much like the day I bought it (the handle is a slightly different style). It's made from high carbon stainless steel and very easy to take care of. Of course, the serrations mean it would not be easy to sharpen.

I really like this knife (and Mundial utensils) a lot.

What a waste of money. The serrations of this knife are to far apart. This knife wont cut through anything but bread.
