Jerky Board and Knife set

We gave this to our adult son for Christmas, and he put it to use right away. He loved it! He was also very happy with the knife included in this set. Nice product.

I always wanted to know how to make my own jerky, and I figured I would give this kit a shot and I am very impressed it was simple and easy and now I have my own jeky brewing with my very own personal preference of spices.

nice little kit, comes with a quaility knife, and a package of jerky mix. the board however did't work too well for me. You have to use a very large piece of meat ( venision in my case ) and it's difficult to hold while cutting. In all fairness to the product i only used it for a short time then went back to cutting thin slices by hand, maybe you can't teach a old dog new tricks. if i recall the price was worth the knife, and the mix, give it a try then write your own review.

I really didn't want to buy an electric meat slicer when I only make jerky about twice a year. This product was in the right price so I thought I would give it a try. It worked perfectly. I have zero complaints. The knife they provide is sharp enough and, as long as you follow the instructions, you will get your money's worth out of this product.

If you're in the professional jerky making business, this probably isn't the product for you. But if you just make it 2-6 times a year, this is will get the job done.
