Forschner Boning Knife with Black Fibrox Handle

This knife is used at work daily. Forschner is the knife of choice. It is sturdy and holds an edge. I would buy again.

I asked my wife to pick me up a boning knife for cutting up my deer three years ago. My old knife just wouldn't hold a edge any longer after sharpening. Well seven deer later, l asked my wife where she had purchased this prize, (I love when a item does exactly what they were bought for). Well her answer didn't surprise me when she said she didn't remember, lol. I gave her all the info off the blade and she Googled it for me. Long stoy short, never used a knife that would hold a edge, and then come right back very sharp with a dozen strokes of my ceramic rods,(sharpener). Also great for scoring the hide to get it off. My wife found this item at Amazon.com and i'm going to purchase a second one just in case this one grows legs and dissapears, as things happen to do when you have older kids, (smile). Doug
