Chicago Cutlery Insignia2 Steel 4-Piece Steak Knife Set

Bought 2 sets, great feel in my large hands and very sharp. They do have a serated edge at the front with smooth edge towards the rear. I should beable to sharpen in the future. Had them a few months, so far no rust spots.

I have the original Insignia knife block, and somehow one of my knives walked away. I ordered this item from Amazon, and the knives don't match the picture or description. These steak knives have teeth toward the end. The picture shows no teeth, and the original block set knives have no teeth also. It wasn't a big enough deal to return them, so I kept them.

I'm giving the item a two star rating overall because of the deception, and also the teeth of the knives make it hard to cut steak (believe it or not!). I totally prefer my original steak knives over these! Hopefully the one that walked away will walk back into my life soon...

The insignia model knives DO have teeth in the front of the steak knives. I purchased a set at Walmart that weren't the insignia and didn't have the teeth in the front but looked almost identical to the insignia model. I returned them and then bought the insignia model. Please note though that on my purchase the knives began to tarnish or something after using bar keepers friend on them and I tried to contact customer care twice for a return to the Chicago cutlery warranty contact and received no response! The knives feel great in your hand well balanced and super sharp out of the box and I received many compliments about them even convinced someone to go purchase their own. Even with the poor customer service I'd recommend Chicago cutlery to anyone just don't use bar keepers friend on them or wash them in the dishwasher. Hand wash with soap and water only!
