A soap maker showed this on her site as a great way to make half-rounded soaps. It really does work nicely. Each section holds about 2-1/2 pounds of soap. For others using the tray in this manner, do line it first before pouring the soap, unless you want to deal with trying to find a spot big enough in the freezer to freeze the soap, then you have hold a blow-dryer to the bottom to get the soap to pop out, which it did. (grin) The tray is a great alternative soap mold.

These cutlery bins were not as sturdy as I expected, but they work nicely for storing our silverware in an organized manner.
