I am a huge hobby cake decorator who has used the last couple years to move on to more "advanced" techniques and classes and I have learned having the right tool can make all the difference in the world in your final outcome.

I joined several cake forums over the last few years and started to realize some of the difficulties I may be having was just not having the proper tool. A good turntable is just a much. I had been using the one given to me as a kid and never really thought about replacing it. Boy what a difference it makes.

This cake turner is not only better in quality, it just works so much better. My old turntable didn't even turn smoothly, something i didn't notice until i bought this one. This one turns so smoothly that it doesn't cause any issues with my piping at all and I need only lightly touch it in order to get it to move in the direction i want. No more struggling to get it just right.

The tilt feature is amazing! I can get to the sides of my cake without bending down or trying to work at weird angles, it is the perfect height and the cakes do not slide off.

To the commenter that it is too tall when sitting, I mostly work while standing so i am not sure, but I can say my old one had almost no height at all and it was awful. I had to constantly been over at all angles to get at my cake, not with this one. Highly recommend this product!

I think that I would love this turntable if I were taller. I like to sit and decorate but this stand is too tall for me to do that comfortably. I also do not like that the top comes out of the bottom so you have to take care when moving the stand with a cake setting on it. Great product if you are taller than 4' 9".
