Several years ago I was given a shrimp deveining & shelling tool and loved it. But then I needed one for my vacation home. Finally found this one on Amazon they aren't easy to find anywhere else. From the picture I wasn't sure if it was going to be what I was looking for or if it was of the same great quality as my prior one. But the product exceeded my expectations.

If you haven't tried one of these tools, do so!!!! It's so easy to cut the shell for quick and easy peeling and to devein the shrimp at the same time. This is a must-have tool for your kitchen.

This knife made cleaning the shrimp a lot easier than before. I didn't destroy the shrimp like I usually do.

I work in the seafood industry so I am always peeling and de-veining shrimp. The sharp edge on the outer side of the knife cuts the shrimp quickly and precisely so you can clean the shrimp. Then, you can also flip the knife so on the curved side, to scrap the inside of the shrimp. Would recommend.

This tool makes cleaning shrimp a three step process. Pass the tool under the shell along the back, peel off the shell, and rinse off the vein. A pleasure to use and at least three time faster than what I used to use (bird's beak paring knife).
