This serving set is great for the price. It looks pretty on the cake table and photographs well.

The handles are a faux pearl, so they're very lightweight. This set is cheap feeling, but its appearance makes up for it. I would NOT use it for everyday or even for holiday use, but as a one time wedding accessory it is perfect.

When my package came in the mail, the bow on the knife had fallen off, as its attached with just an adhesive dot. This was perfect for my use, as I removed the bows and replaced them with purple to match the wedding colors.

This is not a set that is easily engraved, as the metal is slightly flimsy.

First and foremost, this item came packaged terriblyin a flimsy box where only the handles were held down by a piece of plastic and the metal blade and cake cutting part were flopping back and forth. The handles came scuffed and you can't hide the fact that it's just cheap plastic. It's a no-brainer that I plan on returning them. Do yourself the favor and don't bother!
