Chef Craft Knife Sharpener 20494

This simple device replaces an identical one I had since college. The stone in that one wore out as I use it several times per week. I have 3 electric sharpeners but none get that ultimate degree of sharpness that this manual device achieves.

I have had this type of sharpener before and really liked it, so I wanted a new one.

The stone on this tool is too soft and too course. I was like a pumice stone.

I sharpened only 10 knives and the stone quickly wore itself down to the point of not working any more and when cutting anything, the edge of the "sharpened" knives were rough and it was like "sawing" instead of cutting.

I would have been better off paying a little more and getting a better, smoother, stronger stone.

Don't waste your money on this junk!

Had one like this many years. Broke about 10 years ago and bough a electric sharper. I think this works much better for me than the electric sharper.

just junk.... poor craftmanship...Complete and utter piece of junk... cheap parts used and dont hold together.. well at all... not worth the effort

THIS FELL APART RIGHT OUT OF THE PACKAGE AND DOESN'T WORK AT ALL..I WANTED SOMETHING I COULD USE MYSELF TO SHARPEN MY KITCHEN KNIFE AND IT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY!!
