BergHOFF Earthchef Professional Copper Clad 10-Piece Cookware set

After an exhaustive search for the best cookware set for my money, I came across this set by BergHOFF. My mother bought a stainless copper clad set while IN Belgium 25 years ago and I must say this is the closest thing to it...exceeds All-Clad, etc. I've used most of the pieces this weekend and what a joy it is to have cookware that heats evenly AND fast. Nothing sticks and cleanup is easy. (Be warned that all stainless saute pans will blue a bit at high heat, it's what they're for. This is easily remedied with a quick swipe of stainless cleaner.) These pots and pans are the best I have owned. I have had just about every top brand you can think of over the years and these are top of the line.

I was very disappointed when I returned to Amazon to purchase some extra pieces and found they were not available. As a result I kept a few of my old pans around to fill in. I really would love to have a large skillet, and a large deep fry pan. I have done quite a bit of research so far with no luck. If anyone has any info on where to obtain them, please tell Amazon as I will be the first to buy them. I would give these 10 stars if there was such an option

Exactly what I wanted and at the price I wanted to pay when comparing to the higher end products currently out there. Same quality and cooking experience you would find in the over priced cookware, and not that I could find "Made in China".

I am glad I waited and researched before buying the last cookware I will ever use.

These are exactly as described. Very nice and heavy, great handles. Lids are so so but should not preclude you from buying these. Just to be sure we burned the heck out of the saute' pan the first night...they retain heat quite well! Cleaned up no problem.

UPDATE... 11/4/2012... The handles on the "PREMIUM" lids are now getting hot too and the non-stick skillets are now sticking... after 3 weeks of leaving messages and emails their warranty department said there is nothing they can do... what kind of warranty is this? I will not be buying this brand again.

--Got this inexpensive set from Amazon (Heuck Zeroca Select Carbon Neutral Cookware Set, 8-Piece) and LOVE THEM... super light weight, wash well and very stylish, too.

ORIGINAL REVIEW... We love the "Premium" set but we were not pleased with the "Professional" set because the handles on the "professional" set get super hot when cooking which is not practical at all. We purchased the "Premium" because of the safe manufacturing but we also love them for their beauty, affordability and easy clean-up. I thought the description was very clear that these were NOT the nonstick --we have their Montane Nonstick and nothing is better, super impressive. I recommend these highly.
