I have several Wusthof Classic utility knives in the 4.5" to 6" size. This is my favorite. I like the fully serrated style. The serrations are deep like on a bread knife. Years ago I had an Ecko "sandwich knife" like this, but lost it. This is the first good replacement I've found.
If you've got arthritis in your hands or grasping things and holding on is very hard or you have no strength in your hands--for whatever reason--this is NOT the can opener you want. It takes a lot of pressure to push the blade through the lids and to get the stupid thing started.

With the plug-in recharger, I had high hopes for this product. Unfortunately, the fulcrum arm is too short to apply proper pressure on the can lid before opening. I pressed as hard as I could without success in opening canned dog food. Looks good but hard to use. Hard to fit cutting blade onto can. Cutting handle slopes in wrong direction so thumb tends to slide off. My wife had arthritis and cannot use it.Want Hb Compact Can Opener Black Discount?
This was a great product until it wasn't. Darn thing stopped clamping onto the can and traveling round it. I've been on the hunt for a long-lasting electric can opener for years and this isn't it.
Product is good quality be aware of 18/0 designation. This has to do with nickel content, & flatware may not wear as well as 18/10. I was adding to a set, & the pieces visually are the same. The spoon beds are slightly different in depth, & the curves if the fork handles are slightly different. Although the 18/0 is not as high a quality, I have washed several times in the dishwasher, & the pieces still shine like the 18/10 pieces. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
Knife arrived...looks nice but doesn't cut...wanted to use it for debarking branches...I probably should have purchased a more expensive one..
Honestly, I'd like to see something besides a black plastic knife handle. It's a nice handle, but the fit and finish of the rest of this device robs the handle of its handsomeness.
Bought to add to my wife's set. She love these and respects the sharpness... They do hold a good edge for a lengthy time and are well balanced. Only thing I would change is the red sticker...should be engraved..
This mini cleaver is good quality, super cute and ultra useful. I am always finding reasons to cut since I got itand I now want these things in ever color.
