This blade is for our amazing apple peeler. Can peel and swirl cut 50# of apples in two hours. Would take about 6 days by hand. Cores, peels, swirl cuts in one motion. Brought the replacement blade, for future use. Using peeler for 3 autumns and no replacement necessary. Can recommend product whole heartedly. Well worth the price, in fact, more than well worth the price. Will always have plenty of apples on hand just to use it.
These steak knifes are really heavy duty. They have wider handles than your usual steak knifes which makes it easy to get a very firm grip on them. They are VERY sharp and the blade is also way bigger than a normal steak knife which makes for a precise clean cut through your meats.
I first found out what these were for when I was working in a Kosher Take out place on 108th Street in Forest Hills, NY, called Berso Kosher Foods. While still in Highschool, I coulsd not wait to get to work and slice up some barbequed chickens with these sheers for our customer at $4.95/hr. It was quite an experience. Now that I am all grown up and make my own rotisserie chicken at home, I like using these same exact sheers to slice up my chicken for my family.
This item was accurately described and arrived in good shape. I wanted something in front of my Keurig that blended with the countertop in the kitchen. I like the subdued colors with a classic design; I'm not surprised that it does not function as a cutting board, as it is not designed for that function.

I received this knife set as a wedding present almost four years ago and they're holding up well. The steak knives are very sharp and perfect for cutting meat. I don't use the large knives very often, but when we need them to carve meat, they perform well. The smaller knives are used on a daily basis. These knifes are so sharp and really sleek looking. I love them. My husband and I had a Kitchen Aid knife set when we first got married, which we loved, until we stupidly ruined them by leaving them in a chemical bath to keep their shine. We finally got a new set and we won't be making that mistake agian. I don't think there are very many other brands of knifes that compare to Kitchen Aid quality without being super, super expensive. This particular set is a little smaller than our old set but it works out because our new kitchen is smaller, so the proportions work. Bought this set of knives a couple months ago but just recently started using them. It is a very attractive knife set & looks great on our countertop but one of the knives has already started rusting after a couple of hours in the sink which leaves me to believe that they are obviously not completely stainless. However the description does say to dry immediately after washing & they were very inexpensive, so of course they aren't top of the line or anything. Came broken. Also, would have appreciated all the cups fitting in the spot, but only the biggest one does. Not what I thought it would be. Wanted to return it because a leg was broken off at arrival, but it was a gift and I needed something by Christmas, and a replacement wouldn't be available till February. Anyway, would not recommend this poorly made garbage product.
I purchased a couple sets of these. The first time I used a spoon to eat pretty soft ice cream it broke right in half. Then I was putting butter on bread and one of the knifes broke right in half. I could not believe it!! Everyone was laughing, but I did not think it was too funny considering what I paid for them. Don't waste your money.....

Ordered this and it arrived cracked. The problem with cracked slate is that even if you super glue it, it flakes off. So you will have slate flakes on your cheese! In addition, the "soap chalk" arrived completely crushed and unusable. It is packaged very poorly, which is probably why it arrived broken. In essence, this is what you get: a thin layer of easily-breakable slate (about the thickness of a CD jewel case) with felt glued to the bottom. No cleaning or care instructions are included or printed on the box!!! So, even if this arrived without cracks, we still wouldn't know how to properly use and clean it. You could probably go to a quarry and make this yourself for free. Crappy product, rip-off. You get what you pay for.

This board is simply too small. It barely holds 2 different kinds of cheese, and if you want to use the chalk to write the name of the cheese you have to really be sure that the cheese doesn't touch the writing or it comes right off. The Wuesthof Grand Prix II Utility Knife is for sure the most used knife in our kitchen. We have it now since over 6 years and I expect it to work for the next 20 or so more years. I use it for almost everything and it has the nick-name the mango knife. It works really well on all larger fruits and vegetables, meat and even on some fish. The utility knife is well balanced and very comfortable to hold even for longer working times. It kept its sharp edge for a very long time, but as with all forged knives they should be sharpened regularly.

This is a great kitchen island for the price. I have what would be considered an eat-in kitchen but have chosen to put this island in the kitchen instead and it is the perfect size. It provides me with a fair amount of extra work space and lots of extra storage. It was easy to assemble. The only nit-picky thing I have to say about it is that the stainless steel top is hard to keep finger print free. Other than that, I am very happy with my purchase.

I like the looks of this cabinet but having purchased many times in the past items that have had to be put together this was the worst product I have ever had to deal with. Nothing lined up; half the pieces were not numbered so you pretty much had to guess on some pieces and some of the hardware was missing. All in all I'd say spend the extra $ and buy American.
I got this set a few years ago as a gift. It has held up beautifully. I cook with gas heat and I've never had a problem with scorching or handles melting. The dutch oven has been my go to pan for everything. I've put them through the dishwasher without any problem. I'm on Amazon today looking for a replacement dutch oven. My Mom has had 2 or 3 sets of pots, including Paula Deen cookware, since I've had this one and mine has outlasted hers. I recommend these without reservation.

I'm very pleased with these knives. The blades are sharp and cut nicely, and the handles are very comfortable to hold. Like all my knives, I wash these by hand and after the first two months of daily use they look brand new. I will probably buy the larger utility knife too.
Bought mine a few months ago, read the instructions, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm supposed to cut with it. Unless you apply brute force, it cuts nothing not even sausage casing. There are caution statements and warnings everywhere about how sharp it is. Maybe it slices through human skin easily (I haven't tried that yet...) The potato peeler is equally disappointing. I've tossed both items because they are useless.
