I purchased this knife set after having held the chef's knife and felt that I can love its wonderful weight and balance. It has the similar feel to a knife from another company which cost almost three times as much. I've had the set for about four months now and can not be happier. It's a "humble" knife not heavy or impressive. Rather, it's sleek and balanced and when it touches the food, it just naturally "sink" into the food and cuts with minimum pressure.I had only a passing period of regret when some spots which looked like rust spots appeared on the knives. I scrubbed the spots off with an abrasive cleaning pad and it came off, but reappeared. Since everything else about the knives were so wonderful, I called the company's customer service for help and they offered a replacement. They were very curteous and very nice. Excellent response.
The same type of spots appeared on the replacement, but because I could not bear to part and give up on the knife, I kept scrubbing the knife for several times. The spots have not come back again for over a month, now, so I no longer have to scrub them. In fact, they now look like new with just normal cleaning. Now, I wonder whether I should've been more aggressive with the first knives as well.
So, in sum, purchase these knives. They're worth every penny. You won't regret it. If some strange spots appear, give the knives a good scrubbing for a few times and they'll be tamed. Enjoy!Overall, this knife-set has a professional feel to it without an inflated price.

Before I bought, I read a lot of Amazon reviews on the 10.25 inch Victorinox 47547. I have an old, 8" Chicago Cutlery bread knife that is kinda dull. I wanted a new bread knife, and I thought I wanted a longer blade. Two things in those otherwise great reviews caught my attention: the blade "was not too rigid," and it "was sharpened on only one side." (The reviewers said the knife being sharpened on only one side would cause the blade to drift offline during a cut--and I thought I was a perfectionist!). This "offline" complaint drove me to seriously consider the Wustoff (the $126 model--so I wouldn't have to put up with those aggravating offline cuts). But before I spent that much money, I went to see one at a local store. Lo and behold, the Wustoff blade--the $126 one--is sharpened on only one side! (My guess is, all wavy-edge, serrated knife blades are sharpened this way... so much for perfect cuts.) Once I found out about one-sided sharpening on all the blades I was considering, the $26 Victorinox models were looking very good. Because I've noticed that my knuckles get in the way when I slice, I ended up getting the Victorinox 9-Inch Wavy Edge Bread Knife, with the offset handle. Its blade is plenty thick and stiff, and very sharp. I now enjoy slicing bread without having to manipulate a straight knife because of my knuckles. And, at this price, I can afford to buy a new knife every time one gets dull. PS: My freehand, thin bread slices are an even thickness from top-to-bottom and side-to-side.Six Months Later: for the first time I used the knife on something other than bread, a raw potato. Lo and behold, the blade does drift offline as you cut, it pushes away from the sharpened side. Can't imagine where this is a big deal (I didn't really notice it slicing bread), and it seems to be able to be controlled if you try.It's the best I've ever owned. The Z shape helps keeping your knucles off of the cutting board and the blade can handle any job with maestry!

This knife cuts like its more famous sibling, the R H. Forschner by Victorinox 10-1/4-Inch Curved Blade Bread Knife. I happen to like how the other performs, so I later bought this offset, slightly shorter bread knife and brought it to my workplace for cutting sandwiches and bread. Having owned a restaurant and now retired, All Clad are the pans we use and trust to provide even heat. Cooking with this kitched utensile is like heaven incarnate. It's easy to cook with. Easy to clean. And I don't have to worry about carcinogenic non stick coating ending up in my food anymore.I bought this pan to do the baking soda experiment. This is All Clad we're talking about. They appear to be very cheaply made and are extremely light weight and flimsy. If I had been able to hold these and feel them before I purchased them, I would have not bought them. I bought this set to see what all the hype was about regarding ceramic knives. When I first pulled the knives from their package, one dropped on our tile floor-no chips : ) I have used them several times now and am so pleased with them! They make it so easy for me to cut through ANYthing-and clean up with no fuss. This set in particular is nice because these 3 knives are sized perfectly for anything I want to cut and after rinsing and drying, they slip easily into the clear block. Sorry Amazon doesn't have a better price, I actually found cheaper by $40.00 in Manhattan, still the price is good compared to some of the models I priced out at that big box store on 6th Avenue. My husband can't believe this sharpener delivers the goods without the addition of oil and water during sharpening.I've been sharpening knives since I was a kid, but got really tired of hand sharpening kitchen knives everytime a family member cut through something on a ceramic plate (seemed like daily). I was really skeptical of any motorized sharpener, especially as costly as these are, but most of the reviews were good so I purchased one. I am so pleased. Don't try to use one of these without reading the directions...they have specific steps to follow that are not always obvious, even to those of us used to hand sharpening. And, like others have said, the first sharpening takes a while in order to correct the angle of the blade. Once you're there, you feel a huge burr/curl form on the edge, then you hone, and the knife will get extremely sharp. I have a large bald spot on my arm now where I tested the knives.
I really like the blade guides. They're not perfect in holding the blade, but are good enough to give you the idea of how to hold & draw the knife. Some have commented on scratch marks that are left on the sides of the blades. I got them my first try, then realized if I was more careful in holding the blade true to the angle guide, it didn't happen. As a word of warning, if you order one with a metal exterior it adds about $20.00 to the price. White plastic saves you money and doesn't have anything to do with functionality.

...and that is purely because I am a traditionalist when it comes to sharpening knives. I spend a lot of time outdoors and sharpening a knife the old fashioned way is an essential skill for every man...and sadly maybe for the woman whose man won't develop the skill. Even during a stint in the deli and meat business for 9 years, I stuck with the old methods. As often as I had to sharpen knives, only occasionally and with a lot of work was I able to get our knives really razor sharp. Other times, they were only just pretty sharp!Many people don't realize that the most dangerous utensil you have in the kitchen is a dull knife. A dull knife requires more force to do the same work. Dull knives are more susceptible to slipping and combined with the force that moved them, can still produce chilling and even life threatening accidental cuts. A sharp knife requires much less force, can cut more precisely and is easier to control.
I bought this device for my son and daughter in law for Christmas 2008. They owned excellent quality knives, but they were sharp only for the first few months after they bought them. After that, I discovered they may as well have used a butter knife because that's the condition these knives reached pretty quick. The knives also suffered from the very bad habit of being stored loosely in a drawer. Consequently they had nicks in addition to just being dull. I was afraid that my daughter in law would end up with a nasty cut. The situation got so bad that instead of sharpening the dang things, my daughter in law would just buy a new knife each year!
I used this device for the first time just last week only because I remained as stubborn about my son learning how to use it as I did about my own traditionalist methods. He and a buddy tried using it...without looking at the instructions... and didn't get anywhere with it. I learned very quickly that had I been smart, I would have bought one of these machines for ourselves when we started our deli business in 1994 !!
It is important to read and follow the instructions to get the best service from this machine. Starting with the dullest 10" knife and using only the weight of the knife, I drew the knife blade in 10 alternating passes. This very quickly produced the burr sought in the instructions for stage 1 along the entire length of the blade. (Normally, a knife in better condition would need only a total of 2-4 alternating passes to produce the same result.) After reaching the burr stage, only 4 alternating passes (2 on each side) in stage 2 produced an edge on this knife that I could use to shave the hair off the back of my left index finger! I gave that knife one more stage 2 pass for each side and went on to the next knife. This time fewer passes...same results! My daughter in law gave it a shot with another dull knife that would only smush a tomato and produced an edge in only seconds that would cut tomatoes paper thin! She also got razor sharp results on a short bladed paring knife!
Once a knife is this sharp, the machine won't be needed for quite a while. Generally, only a pass or two with a high quality ridged sharpening steel such as those offered by Forschner or Mundial will be enough to maintain the edge for months of household kitchen use. This is because the edge of a razor sharp knife becomes so thin that it will "fold over" in the shape of a J during use. The steel straightens the edge and restores it's razor sharpness with just a few VERY LIGHT strokes. The vision you might have of the butcher flailing his knife 10-20 times with the steel to restore the edge is really overkill and mostly for show. The two light strokes should do it...and as quietly and lightly as possible. I have even used the bottom of a ceramic coffee cup or the back edge of another high quality knife in place of a sharpening steel, although the coffee cup will remove some material from the blade of the knife.
In just minutes with this machine, we had 8 razor sharp knives and accomplished what could have literally taken HOURS to achieve with traditional methods. If you are not getting the same results with your machine, my humble guess would be that you are not using it properly. the steel in your knife is very hard or they are in really bad shape. Only as a last resort would I fault this machine. We were even somewhat saddened when we were done!
Remember to store your knives in a way that keeps them banging against each other. We prefer wood blocks designed for storing knives. They can get pricey if you buy them retail. We managed to pick ours up at Goodwill for $2....a real bargain. They have them every time I go in there.

This sharpener worked so well on my daughter-in-law's knives that I took one of mine that I have been maintaining the traditional way on this trip to sharpen it on her sharpener. The knives I did for the above review needed only touch up sharpening and was done with them in a few seconds. My 10" kitchen knife, on the other hand, needed a lot of work. I was getting nowhere on the 1st stage and thought I might be using it wrong. In reality, the angle I had sharpened mine to manually was incorrect and the machine was putting the correct edge on them. I lost count of the # of 1st stage passes made to get the burr, but when I did, a few passes in the 2nd stage had the knife razor sharp. If you are not getting anywhere with this sharpener, you need to make sure you are following the directions and be persistent to get that "burr". Then you will be only seconds away from the sharpest edge you've ever had...

I wasn't planning to buy an electric sharpener, but after reading a guide by Wusthof on honing and sharpening knives , I decided to go for it. Wusthof recommended this electric sharpener, as did my local Sur La Table store.It works pretty well, was easy to use, and my knives were definitely sharper afterwards. I recommend this knife sharpener, and definitely recommend reading the Wusthof guide.

Product does a decent job of sharpening both everyday, cheap knives as well as the more expensive Henkel and Wusthof branded knives although in my experience I have been unable to achieve the "razor-sharp" edge that they have advertised. It does cut through sticky-type substances without sticking or goo all over the knife (I am trying to avoid saying it did a great job cutting the cheese, which it did). I also cut through a chocolate bunt cake with really sticky, wet, gooey icing, and voila, it cut clean over and over again! Love it. Worth every penny!The Wusthof knives are the best in my opinion. It truly pains me to write this review. I have several Wusthof knives that I have slowly purchased over the years. I love them. I did a lot of research before buying my first ones. I recently used my SIL's cheese knife from Cutco and it was AWESOME. It sliced so thinly, so easily. My family eats a lot of cheese, so I'm always slicing some. I've always hated slicing cheese and have bought various planers and slicers over the years hoping for something better. When her Cutco knife was so great, I assumed the Wusthof one would at least be as good, if not better. I've used other Cutco knives and don't like them AT ALL. I hate the handle, I hate the blade. Even though there are tons and tons of excellent reviews for their cheese knife online, I let my snobbery get the better of me. It happened to be my birthday, so this cheese knife is what I asked for. I really couldn't find any reviews for the Wusthof knife, and only one store in town carried it. I asked if I could try it first and they said no. So we ordered from amazon. I am so disappointed. It's a sharp knife, but is not any better at slicing cheese than my other sharp knifes. As a sharp knife for cutting other things, I give it 5 stars, but this is specifically marketed as a cheese knife, and for that I give it 1 star. I had the Cutco rep come to my house today so I could compare them side by side, and I was right. That Cutco knife slices through the cheese like butter. I was making paper thin slices of cheddar, pepper jack and mozzarella with ease. This knife is going back tomorrow. I ordered the cutco knife today, and will be serving paper-thin cheese slices with my serving of crow. J.A. Henckels International Fine Edge Pro 3-Inch Stainless Steel Paring Knife
I have had a J.A. Henckels 3" Fine Edge paring knife for 6 months. It was a great knife until a family member decided to stick it in a meat grinder last night. But we won't hold that against the knife.The handle is comfortable and easy to grip. With 3 through-rivets it is securely attached. The handle includes a very good front quillon to keep fingers from sliding onto the blade. The full length tang aligns perfectly with the handle reflecting quality workmanship even though the knife was made in China.
The knife was super sharp when first bought, more like a razor blade than a knife blade. Even though the blade is stainless steel, it kept the fine edge and never needing to be sharpened nor honed. To help keep it sharp I never put it in the dishwasher to avoid exposure to the harsh detergent.
For many purposes the 3" length will be perfect. I think that I prefer a slightly longer blade. There were many times while slicing vegetables that I cut a thin layer of skin off the tip of a finger holding the item being sliced--not enough to draw blood, but always surprising. This has never happened to me with any other knife and I attribute these little mishaps to the blade being so short that I did not have as good a visual line on the blade as with a longer blade, and because it is so sharp.
Henckels makes many fine knives. The Fine Edge line of knives is a discount line, and prices are quite modest. I bought an 8" Fine Edge chef's knife at the same time and have been very happy with it also. The main difference between these discounted Fine Edge knives and some of the more expensive Henckels lines, other than price, seems to be cosmetic. Thanks to the encounter with the meat grinder I now am shopping for a new paring knife. I would have bought another one of these except it is not available with free super saver shipping, and the total cost with shipping seems a bit high. I think I will buy a 4" paring knife in stead, but if you are looking for a 3" knife and like the price, I think you will like this knife.I had a complete set of Henckels that included this knife. A couple visiting my home let their kids take it out and dig in the dirt with this one. I ordered it to replace the one that then had a broken tip. This size knife works well for small jobs like paring apples or pears, taking the eyes out of potatoes that the peeler misses, etc. Henckels makes a good quality knife and this is a usable size. The handle fits well in your palm, also.

The handle could be a little more comfortable for my small hand, but it is very sharp, and I am getting a lot of use from it.My wife and I purchased a complete J.A. Henckels knife set many years ago. I hadn't seen the paring knife in the block for a while and asked my wife about it. She said, "I may have accidentally thrown it in the garbage". We searched the house and couldn't find it, so I searched Amazon and found a replacement. Shortly after it arrived, we found the original (in an Entemmen's cake box!). Now we have 2. :-)It was nice to be able to purchase a replacement paring knife for a knife-set that was purchased over 10 years ago.

So, I should start out by saying that I am career cook and have used many brands of knives over the years, even thinking that I had found the perfect knife many times over, but alas, I was mistaken. I had not found the perfect knife until I purchased the Shun Elite Ken Onion 8" Chef's Knife.I can say without hesitation that it is a knife without peer in my humble opinion. The combination of its style, craftsmanship, endurance and simply fantastic ergonomics makes it my absolute go-to knife no matter if the knife was designed for the job or not (I find myself frustrated with having to use other knives!)
I know the secret to its everlasting sharpness is in the alloy they use to make the knife but I am not a metallurgist, only a cook, yet I can only imagine it must be some alloy from outer space because this knife hasn't lost its killer factory edge since the day I bought it about a year ago. I hone it on a standard steel, about 4 to 5 swipes on each edge at 16 degrees about twice a week, and I use it daily for at least 3 to four hours of continuous use. Still sharp as ever.
Because it looks so gorgeous, owners may be tempted only to bring it out for special occasions, or to inspire a little knife-envy amongst their friends or fellow cooks, but I have to say this knife begs to be used., and you should use it every chance you get. Its look and style communicates a serious statement about the respect for your craft or hobby and the ergonomics of Mr. Onion's design induce no fatigue or burn-out in your wrist or forearm. My hands are of a normal average size for a man and the grip on this knife is stellar. I imagine it's the closest one could get to having a knife custom molded to your hand.
The blade slides effortlessly in a gentle, controlled rhythm whether you're a novice or an experienced cook. As I mentioned, it is seriously sharp, but the sheer design of the knife acts as its own safety feature by preventing any unnecessary force to be put against the blade and aligning the hand to properly secure the knife. The balance between the blade and the handle is superb and the curve of the blade edge makes it perfect for slicing and chopping.
Sure it's a chunk of change, but I would have to say that if you had to only have one knife (and believe me, when you purchase this knife, you'll only need one knife) this would be it. It'll last a lifetime or more with good care and the lifetime warranty and sharpening service offered by Shun.

I purchased this knife because I wanted at least one knife with the SG2 or MC66 powdered steel blade. In case you are like me and don't know what 'powdered' steel is, has an article titled "Shun 101" that is a great basic steel and knife manufacture lesson. The part on powdered steel is near the end of the article. Having read other information about knife steel and hardness, I began looking for a powdered steel blade; it was rather difficult to find manufacturers of PSK(powdered steel knives) I found 2 that seemed best to me. The Shun Elite series with SG-2 PSteel and the Henckels Miyabi 7000MC with a core of MC66. I hate these differences because it makes me want one of both to compare them.
I chose the Ken Onion Elite 8"chef's knife with the SG-2 core between 2 layers of 410A stainless steel for corrosion resistance and protection. It costs about the same as the Miyabi 8" chef, but I liked the K O's looks and feel; I also tried handling one in a nearby cutlery store. Out of the box that knife is sharp! It costs a lot and seems sharper than a Henckels Twin Cuisine 8"chef. The Japanese knives are in general lighter and easier to handle for me than the European knives. The Shun blade angle is 16 degrees where the Miyabi's is 17 degrees. If you owned one of each of these, keeping the proper blade angle might be difficult with out one of the mechanical devices.
I'll report later to let you know what I think after I've used the Ken Onion Elite SG0418 for a while. But right now I'll agree with Mr. Harris that it's the one you want if you had to have only one knife.

This is a perfect knife. It is elite in any category; beauty, balance, sharpness, hardness (how long the edge lasts). The bolster is contoured to more comfortably allow the pinch-grip, which is the correct way to hold a chef knife. That, along with the fact that it is ambidextrous, so impressed my left-handed chef father, that he immediately purchased himself the Ken Onion Elite (next model up, now discontinued). Only hone with a Shun steel, because its bolster has a built-in angle guide. Trying to eye-ball the proper angle without the guide is very difficult, so instead of honing your blade, you could be twisting it. However, this knife is forged from very hard steel, so if used on proper boards, and for the proper jobs, it should stay razor sharp for at least a year without honing, and then simply be sharpened (about $1 per inch at such stores as Sur La Table). That would save you the $40 on honing steel. Be aware that 8 inches is easier to handle than 10, but can be too short for breaking down large fruits/vegetables, cuts of meat. The sharpest knife I ever had. I am not a professional chef, but I enjoy cocking. This knife blows the Global knife out of the way (the only other really good knife I ever had). I saw other remarks that the knife is tuff to work an 8-10 hour day with, but like I said I am not a professional so I can't judge that. Best knife.This is an excellent quality knife with great design. It's easy to use, the blade and angles of the handle make it comfortable for using the whole length of the blade and it cuts superbly. good handle, grips well, cuts cheese well, better is chilled a bit when cutting brie. Nothing bad to say about it.I love the balance and construction of this knife, but soft cheeses will stick to it, albeit slightly. I use it on denser cheeses such as Roquefort, gorgonzola and ricotta salata with good results.This is a fairly large knife as cheese knives go it's a tad over eleven inches long. But the design ensures a good balance, and even my small hands are comfortable gripping it.
One thing I love is the blade: it's super sharp and will cut through semi-hard and even hard cheeses like pecorino romano with ease. I think the problem it has with soft cheeses is the blade needs to be ground more concave. The company makes a special knife for some of the creamier cheeses like brie and Camembert that may be better suited if that is the type of cheese you want to use this knife on: Boska Holland Monaco Collection Stainless Steel Brie Cheese Knife.
However, even the best cheese knife is going to have soft cheeses cling to it. This one minimizes the clinging, but certainly does not eliminate it completely. Personally I am pleased with the performance, but I can understand folks who will not be as happy. In fact, one of the reasons I am writing this review is to emphasize the limitations as well as why I personally love this knife.
Another thing I love is how easy it is to clean and keep sanitized. I never machine wash mine, preferring to submerge it in hot, soapy water made from antiseptic dish detergent, wipe down and thoroughly clean and hand dry. Do be careful because as another review warned the blade is sharp and you can easily cut yourself if not careful. When washing I always have a grip on the knife with one hand so I know where the blade is in soapy water.
Cheese aside, this knife is also perfect for thinly slicing vegetables and fruits. In fact, it is the knife I grab when I want to slice tomatoes even overly ripe ones thinly. I also find myself using it when I want to thin-slice red onions, which have always given me trouble. Not so with this knife.
Soft cheese may cling to it, but this is still an outstanding cheese knife that I use for much more than cheese. I am one hundred percent happy with mine.

It was worth the price. The wood is nice enough. The dimensions are inaccurate, however: it is actually 14.5 inches deep not 11.5 as featured. I purchased it because it was for a drawer that is only 12 inches deep. I am able to use it in another drawer, so all ends well. The construction method involved the use of staples that promptly popped out after a little stress so I hammered in a couple of fine finishing nails to replace them and it works just fine.Not designed for heavier flatware. I have looked everywhere for just the right utensil organizer and finally found this one. It expands to fit so looks customized, and it really keeps everything neat in the drawer. I like that it is wood, too it is easy to clean and will look nice for years. Hello!I was looking for a review of this device because I've had it for some time 2 yrs. approx:. I didn't purchase it here but as a whim buy at a local Tuesday Morning store in Atlants on clearance priced under a Hamilton. I keep mine on the frig. door. I find it handy for making sauces and delivering butter staright to the pan and nice pats for pancakes,waffles or toast. I have given my mother one and she loves it to due to her arthritis flare ups.This butter cutter is a goofy, gimmicky thing, but believe it or not, it actually does work.
Now, you may be saying "Nothing a knife can't do just as well", right? Yes, but then you have to wash the knife, or use a plastic knife that gets gunky and gross, especially if you live with boys. We're perpetually out of clean knives, usually because they're all in the dishwasher awaiting the next cycle.
I got tired of never having clean knives, so I figured $12 for the butter cutter wouldn't put me too out of sorts if it was as hokey as it looks. However, when it arrived, loading a stick of butter was a painless process. Using the clicking handle to dispense perfectly proportioned slabs of butter for easy spreading is pretty awesome, and I've found that it has lots of uses.
One little pat of butter:
per bagel half
in mashed potatoes
in vegetables and rice
in the frying pan
etc
The results are also a big hit when I host fancy dinner parties and everyone has restaurant-style buns and neat, perfectly formed little butter pats artfully arranged. The devil's in the details, after all, and the butter cutter will help you impress your friends.
Previous reviewers have done the hard work for you and me and and I've verified that, indeed, 4 pats = 1 tablespoon of butter. No guessing, no broken bits of butter littering the countertop, no half-opened sticks of butter in the fridge to pick up dirt and smells.
Know what the best part is? Since I got the butter cutter, we've used a lot less butter overall. How's that for health benefits from a seemingly goofy product?
Of course, it's not perfect, but these are all little nitpicks and oddities specific to this butter cutter:
it's a little bulky, but it fits just fine in my fridge's butter area
sometimes if you press too quickly, the butter pats will fold around the blade and stuff themselves up against the large opening in the back, but a good shake will make the pat come right out
if you're at the end of the stick (half a tablespoon or less), sometimes the blade will miss and you'll get the remaining butter dumped out, so it's not 100% precise
no "butter almost empty" visual indicator (see above). If it had some kind of transparent window, I think that'd be neat and useful.
Minor flaws aside, this butter cutter has really been worth the money for me. In fact, I'm going to buy another one (or maybe even two!) for when I start making infused butters again. Easy-spread garlic butter, anybody?

We bought the butter cutter about 3 months ago now. I am in love with this little gadget and plan to buy them as easy Christmas presents for my family next year. Each click is 1/4 tbsp so four clicks equals 1 tbsp. My 7 year old and 4 year old can easily use it (no more mess) and we've been able to relegate our butter dish to the china cabinet to save for special occasions. The nice thing is the butter pats are thin enough that even cold from the fridge butter melts quickly on hot toast. Cooking is easier now as well, 4 clicks = 1 tbsp of butter. Using this I quickly realized that I was frequently over estimating how large 1 tbsp of butter is. Our butter sticks last much longer now! I'm not a big fan of numerous kitchen gadgets that only do one job well, but without a doubt this is one of the best I've bought in awhile so I can forgive the fact that it only slices butter.We've only had this a couple of days, but so far each and every cut has remained in the bottom of the cutter and you need to use your fingers (or something else) to release the butter. I'll try a different brand and size and see if that makes a difference.The first stick (Pulgra...absolutely the best butter) we are using is the longer, more narrow stick. I did have to cut the block before putting it in the butter cutter but is was a precision cut and any of the longer sticks would have the same issue.
I did watch the video on the butter cutter web site and it shows in the demonstration the guy was jerking the cutter down as he was slicing it. I tried that and it did not work.

I have tried several of these butter cutters and this one is the best! Note that it uses the long cubes of butter, not the short fats ones. Land Of Lakes is the only brand we have here in Missoula Montana that are the correct size for this cutter. Half sticks are fine as you just insert two.It is so easy to use but if your butter is hard, of course it's harder to press and cut the butter. I'm not that strong in my hands but I can work it fine. Let it sit out for a bit and as the butter softens, the easier it is to cut...don't let it sit out too long as you might have a mess on your hands....
I love that I can just click a pat into the skillet to cook an egg, or click to add to a recipe. So easy! I just love it! I would recommend to all my cooking friends!
