KitchenAid 8 inch Slicing Knife Red
I have been using this knife for about 10 years now and it is still my favorite. It has a nice weight to it, it's well balanced, the handle is comfortable and non-slip, and it has a great edge that sharpens easily. I use this knife for everything. I have a few other more expensive knives and they just sit in the drawer because this one is superior.It's hard to tell from the picture, but this knife has a really long blade. It is great for slicing my homemade bread, since it can be moved back and forth thru the loaf. It holds an edge very well. I have been using it since September of last year and after an initial sharpening, I have only passed it over my steel a couple of times. Great knife.Buy KitchenAid 8 inch Slicing Knife Red Now

Mundial 5610-8 Cook's Knife 8"
This is really a knife every serious chief should know about. I have one and love it. I use it to "protect" my nice knives from edge destroying jobs & have given a number of them as gifts to people for primary knife in second homes.It performs better than many knives three times its price (although it's clearly inferior to any number of much more expensive finer forged blades). It is very tough. It is also VERY large: the blade is tall, the handle is thick, the bolsters are huge. If you normally use a 10" I'd advise downsizing to the 8".
If you told me tomorrow that my primary knife had to cost $100 or less this would be my choice.A supplier gave my wife's restaurant the 8" chef's knife 25 years ago. Someone managed to break the handle in half (back to front) some years later. Even so it's remained the favorite knife, out of dozens of others, of everyone in the kitchen. I bought a new (complete) one for my wife and she won't tell the other kitchen people that she has it. It's light and has perfect balance. I'm only speaking for women food preparers but this knife is very apparently IT!

This knife is great. It's very sharp and reliable. I use it for everything! You really can't get anything better for the price. I have a handful of Ikea knives that are only 2 years old and I can't keep them sharp. It will be interesting to see if this one keeps its edge over time.So far I'm very happy with the knife especially for the price!!

After reading about this knife in Bon Appetit Magazine under the "Best Knives Under $100.00" I thought its worth a try for $20. I first bought on of these 3 years ago and was blown away by how smooth it cuts and how light it is in the hand. Way better then any $100.00 knife I have used. 3 years later and using this knife everyday, I still am impressed with how the edge has held up on this knife. I have never sharpened it and only hone it about once a week.The blade is a great size for any level cook and the high handle keeps your knuckles from slamming on the cutting board. This is a must have for every home. Once you use a knife that works for you instead of against you, it will change your life! (Well in the kitchen at least)I've owned a lot of knives over the years, some very good but quite expensive. Recently I needed a new knife but did not want to spend much. Bssed on the reviews and my previous experience with Mundial Futura knives (a higher end line of knives) I decided on this one and it has exceeded my expectations. I especially love the wide blade which leaves plenty of room for anybody's knuckles and makes scooping up the chopped bits and transporting them very easy. It is a stamped blade, resulting in a lighter weight knife but that;s fine. Stamped blades used to be considered inferior to forged blades but newer technology has made them much better. The plastic handle is comfortable. I use an inexpensive ceramic knife sharpener Lansky 8" Ceramic Sharp Stick to keep the edge sharp. Try it, you'll like it!
J.A. Henckels International Forged Premio 8-Inch Chef
I bought this knife to replace it's relative, one that was just in the price range below this one. The difference is obvious in the heft and balance. A good weight for some serious chopping time without wearing out your arm. Durable blade, has survived the dishwasher, cutting through smallish bones (chicken, rabbit) and it still sharp as ever.Excellent knives with a reasonable price. I bought five of the same type (Forged Premio) bread, 8-inch chef, 6-inch utility, 3-inch, and 5-inch santoku. Every one of them is amazing, very sharp, a pleasure to work with. A 3-inch may be a little heavy to do a lot of peeling.Buy J.A. Henckels International Forged Premio 8-Inch Chef Now

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program First off, I REALLY like this knife. It is very comfortable to use, and cuts better than any other knife in my collection. As I used it for cutting apples, I kept switching back and forth between this knife and another, and this knife clearly cuts better than the other. It has served me well now for cutting fruits, vegetables, and for trimming excess fat from steaks. However, there are some things you should know:1) When you buy a knife, remember that it eventually will need to be sharpened. When it is time to sharpen THIS knife, I won't be able to use my standard knife sharpener because the angle of the blade on this knife (and Santoku knives in general) is narrower than on German/Western style knives. Yaxell sells their own sharpener, but there are other inexpensive, well rated sharpeners available on Amazon that are designed for this knife. If you don't have ANY sharpener yet, you might consider one that can handle both Westernand Santoku-style blades.
2) The small size of this blade means it is definitely NOT a chef's knife. This has a 5-inch blade, whereas a chef's knife will generally be in the 8to 10-inch range. I was trying to use this knife for chopping Romaine lettuce for a salad, and had to switch to my longer chef's knife instead. I use this smaller knife a lot when I am doing smaller more precise cutting, but this is not a substitute for a chef's knife.
3) The manufacturer recommends that you NOT use this knife for cutting through/around bones. So, use something else if you are doing something along the lines of carving a chicken.
4) This is a great knife, but there are some great alternatives that are much less expensive (some below $30). Do your research, read reviews (I'm a fan of Cook's Illustrated's equipment reviews), and decide for yourself whether the extra cost is worth it.I am a chef and in my job I normally get through a lot of items... knives, but
this one is one of the best I ever tried... nothing to do with average but better

I got the Zen knife it's 37 layers; also a Yaxell knife (you can't find this model in the US only in Europe). I am writing a review as a higher model it can only be better (as I have an 8 inch Gou Yaxell chef's knife and it's amazing). It's the same size as this knife. I got it as a present. I was looking to buy the Shun knife and this one in every aspect, beat the hell out of it. It's more balanced and sharper I got it as a shushi knife, I cut raw fish as if it is butter. I'm writing a review as no one else wrote any reviews on these knives. This is the best knife for the money. It might be a bit expensive, but spend a bit more and it is worth every penny. In my line of work, as a chef, I used to work with a lot of knives from Victorinox, Global and even the Shun, this is the BEST knife that you could buy for yourself and it will last forever (with a bit of sharpening). If you buy this knife, please write a review so that others can learn about it and buy it as well. Enjoy your cutting!Read Best Reviews of Yaxell Ran Chef's Knife Here
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program If you are not good with sharp objects, then stay away from this knife.However, if you are a foodie/chef who really appreciates great tools, this is a wonderful knife. It has a great feel and balance and the knife Tang (the metal) extends all the way through the handle for extra strength. It makes top-of-the-line Henckels look like bargain basement dime-store knives.
The edge cuts smoothly through anything that you throw at it (though I have to admit that I didn't test it with the cliche "cutting through metal" stress tests. It is my favorite knife for cutting vegetables, de-boning a chicken or cutting beef into strips for stir-fry.
The price of the knife is incredible so it is not for the faint of heart or the budget minded cook. I don't know that I would spend the money for it myself... however, it is a pleasure to own and use so from that respect, if you are looking for a thoughtful and significant gift for the chef in your family, this knife makes a great addition to the collection.
[NCJVR]this knife is just as advertised its amazing its razor sharp and cuts like nothing is even under it. I only had it for a day so far and i mean thats a restaurant day and it was still sharp as could be...the only thing that scares me about this knife is how light it is, like super super light, if your not careful i feel like breaking the blade could easily happen, just have to know your going to have to baby it and if your only using it at home you really have no worries then...(Ps avoid anything with bones or relatively hard just IMO)

Kaiser Bakeware Patisserie One Wire Layered Cake Cutter
I made two multi-layer cakes for two different dinner parties this week and received many compliments on the beauty of the cakes, especially the evenness of the layers. I explained to all that it was the result of this magnificent layer cake cutter with serrated wire. I decided today to send out a link to others to purchase it and Amazon seemed to be the best. I just read the reviews, however, and I am mystified at the range of responses. This cutter is absolutely perfect for me, so I can only conclude that those who have written poor reviews may not have used it as effectively as I have.I will share with you my technique which works every time. Very simply, you must place your cake on a large flat surface to give you enough room to work the 15" cutter and use a gentle, slow sawing motion (back and forth)to cut the cake. Depending on the cake, it may take a moment or two to cut through the outer crust. Be patient. Once you cut through continue sawing gently through the cake. I have cut layers as thin as 1/4" the easiest Dobos torte I have ever made! I have used this cutter to slice butter cakes, genoise cakes and tortes made with either bread crumbs or finely ground nuts, such as walnut, almond and hazelnut. I have not used it on chiffon cakes, flourless cakes nor bundt cakes, so I offer no opinion there.
If this wonderful cutter is not working for you it is probably not the cutter but rather ineffective technique in its use: 1)not using a gentle, slow sawing motion; 2) pushing the wire through the cake rather than sawing; 3) rushing the cutting; or 4) not having a wide flat surface upon which to work.Cutting cakes into layers has always made me anxious. This handy tool takes out all the worry and gives you a professional looking result.
Just make sure you let the cake completely cool to firm it up. You might want to refrigerate a delicate one first just to firm it up more so the top layer doesn't break when you remove it.

I purchased the Kaiser One Wire Cake Cutter/Leveler in September 2008. I only bake cakes that require leveling a few times a year. It is a fun hobby that is becoming more than a hobby lately. I thought that this leveler would be much easier and get a cleaner cut than my handy work with a serrated knife. I was correct! This leveler started off working GREAT! I have used it on approximately ten cakes over the past year and a half since I purchased it. It works with ease and gets the job done perfectly and neatly.However, I just went to use this cake leveler again on two different cakes this past month and found that, on the first cake, the wire would not stay put. It kept slipping out of the little notches that allow you to choose the placement of the wire, to determine your heighth on the cut of the cake. I have only handwashed this item and it has been stored neatly in a cabinet with my other cake supplies, out of harm's way. I just thought maybe somehow it had become slightly bent. Then I went to get it to use it on the second cake of the month and the wire was broken apart from the little ring that holds it in place and allows you to adjust it. I was frustrated with the last failure of the cake leveler, so I was not wanting to deal with something even worse. I don't know of a way to repair it, other then to use a soldering iron or torc, neither of which I have! So in the trash it went!
And yet, here I am contemplating ordering a second one. Why, you ask? Because it actually was a great tool and I found it extremely helpful. It is only 12 bucks! You just can't beat that. Small price to pay for perfectly level cakes, even if I have to purchase one every couple years. I'm REALLY hoping this second one lasts MUCH longer! I would easily give this product 5 stars, had I not had the two BIG problems this last month. Therefore, I am only giving it 3 stars.

This product is indeed light weight but does a good job on cakes that are easy to cut in the first place. Starting the cut is the hardest part of the process, but then does a very good job. Do not think that it would do good with cakes that have nuts, rasins or other additives in cake mixture. Worked very well for me.Messermeister Park Plaza Spear Point Paring Knife

I use this spatula almost daily. It's great for turning and serving roasted vegetables, flipping black currant buckwheat pancakes, or scooping up a duck egg cracked onto a bed of kale. It is strong, yet thin and flexible enough with a comfortable handle. The front edge of the spatula is sharp enough to cleanly cut down into a baked salmon which is handy. This is a good kitchen tool that I recommend without reservation.Read Best Reviews of Victorinox 6-Inch Offset Spatula/Turner, Black Polypropylene Handle Here

I recently purchased a service for 8 from Amazon.com for a very reasonable price, only to find out that it was, in fact, 18/0 stainless steel prone to rusting and not the 18/8 rust-resistant stainless advertised! I then went to Bed Bath and Beyond and found their items were similarly mismarked! Furthermore, I checked with several Ebay vendors and they all stated that their postings were also accidentally misleading in labeling 18/0 sets as 18/8.I did research as to the cause of the mixup and found out the following: Two-or-so years ago, Oneida reacted to the rising cost of nickel by making its lower-end lines (among them American Harmony, Sand Dune, and Satin Sand Dune) with no nickel (signified by the /0). Nickel adds rust resistance and luster to stainless steel, and I have read reviews that state that the new stuff is prone-to-rust.
Be careful when reading reviews from owners that were either posted more than two years ago or from owners who state they have had their set for more than two years, because the set they are describing is of much higher quality than that which they are currently selling under the same name! Shame on Oneida, and watch out when purchasing sets marked at 18/8!
For accurate information on the accurate current composition of this or any other set of flatware by Oneida, go to and look up the set by name.
Online outlets such as DiscountFlatware offer the discontinued (18/8) variants of these lines for about the same price, if you're willing to wait for shipments that usually take a little longer.
Happy Shopping!The Sand Dune series is one of the most elegant flatware services available. Easily found in many retail stores, its success is perhaps due to the sweeping line inside the form of the handles that makes gripping easy and graceful, and the heft that's actually provided.
The weight provides a good lever for cutting (for the knives) and stabbing with the fork. This is not a series so light and hollow that the utensils will fly from a hand, or cause you to press with wrist and hand so hard as to cause ache. The utensils seem to help you move through a meal.
They are lovely at an elegant table, but also at home with your everyday dinners. I've purchased two 8-place settings for myself, plus found the serving utenils at a local outlet mall. The large serving spoons and serving forks (great with carving) are very hard to find and many places will not have them in any open stock. If you ever see the serving utensils, grab them.
My mother-in-law from Australia liked Sand Dune so much when she visited, she asked me to take her to purchase her own sets. She bought enough for 8 places and took them back to Australia.
Sand Dune has been one of my best table purchases.
Buy Oneida Satin Sand Dune 20-Piece Stainless-Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4 Now
I purchased this service for 4 flatware set and also a service for 8 (with serving pieces) flatware set (both Satin Sand Dune) three months ago, so I could have a complete service for 12. Since my purchase, it appears that there has been some mix-up in Oneida's labeling of the flatware. Some customer reviews state that the flatware is not actually 18/8, but 18/0, and, therefore, poorer quality and an inferior product.Well, I do know that when I received this service for 4 Satin Sand Dune set, it was definitely marked as 18/8 on the box. I then received the service for 8 a few days later, but, unfortunately, I do not remember if I looked at the rating on that box or not.
As of right now, on the service for 4 set product page (this product page), they have 18/0 in one place, in Product Features, and then 18/8 listed on the same page in the textual description in the "Amazon.com Review" section (I'm guessing an oversight that it didn't get updated).
So all of that is definitely confusing to me. But, to be fair, I have to report that after three months of using this flatware everyday and washing it in my dishwasher, I am very pleased with both the quality and the luster of my Satin Sand Dune sets. They still sparkle like new, there is no rust visible on any of the pieces at all, or any unexplained bending or warping, and the pieces all stack nicely and evenly in my silverware caddy.
It has been stated that the reason the flatware is rated as 18/0 is because the nickel was left out of the content of the flatware when it was manufactured. Well, if that is true, as it turns out, I have sensitive skin and cannot wear any type of jewelry other than gold or platinum. My dermatologist explained to me that this was a common allergy and was caused by the nickel content found in costume jewelry, including sterling silver jewelry. So, for me, and others with the same condition, flatware without nickel is probably a very good thing.
My old flatware set was rated at 18/10, and I did find this flatware slightly lighter in weight, but not any lighter than if it was actually rated at 18/8, as I expected. I had no clue about the 18/0 rating until I decided to write my own positive review about the product and came back here to the amazon product pages. I certainly support truth in advertising as much as the next person, but, really, who truly knows how or when the mis-labeling occurred? Mistakes can happen to manufacturers also, and at least it appears Oneida and Amazon have made an attempt to correct the original error.
The only thing I feel a little bad about is that I actually paid about thirty dollars more for the service for 8 set when I bought it in May, but that is just timing and the luck of the draw! At the time of writing this review, Amazon now has that 45 piece Satin Sand Dune set with the serving pieces at a reduced price, and I have included the product link below for your information, if you would like to examine it. In my opinion, that price is a bargain.
So, I certainly wish you good luck with your shopping decision, as I know this confusion with the rating just makes it more complicated. But, if anyone wants to know if I, personally, would purchase this product again for myself, or as a gift for someone, I would have to say most definitely, yes, especially after putting it to the test for the last three months. And that goes for both this 20 piece set and the 45 piece set with the serving pieces. They both still look brand new.
Oneida Satin Sand Dune 45-Piece Set, Service for 8This flatware set is a great value. It seems to be exremely top quality. I am replacing some very very old flatware, that was also Oneida so I can compare this. It's sturdy enough to handle anything my kids can do to the pieces (sometimes, I swear, my kids are devils)

I got my global ceramic sharpening rod at a Williams and Sonoma sale a few years back. It is my first steel. I used to "steel" my knives by using the lowest setting on my Chef Choice 100. The ceramic is more than just a steel which bends the edge of the knife back into place; it gives you a bit of fresh edge so you don't need to sharpen your knives as frequently. It's also faster and *much* less noisy than using the Chef's Choice.In comparison, I've used a diamond steel while I was visiting a friend's kitchen and was blown away when the fresh edge didn't appear.
And I must thank the knowledgable saleswoman at Williams Sonoma who gave me such good advice.Works great, but it doesn't get my knifes all the way sharp. I have tried a friend's Global diamond rod and it does make a difference.

This is the second set I have purchased. The quality, size, weight and balance of these utensils is outstanding and the photos here do not do them justice. I give these as a new baby gift. Along with a little poem that I personally write for the new-born baby, I have the knife engraved with the baby's full name and birthdate. As the poem suggests, this beautiful non-traditional gift sets a tradition of being used on every birthday cake in the baby's life. When the baby is grown and marries, the server is engraved with the name of the new bride or groom-to-be and the date of the wedding.I searched for a long time to find a knife and server that was good enough to become a tradition in a baby's life and this one is absolutely perfect! It helps to get another friend or family member to "go in" on the gift and they are always thrilled to be a part of starting such a wonderful tradition. Thank you Nambe and Amazon! "STX TURBOFORCE 3000 SERIES" - 3 SPEED - 3000 WATT PEAK OUTPUT POWER - ELECTRIC MEAT GRINDER - 3 "S
For me and for my wife, cooking is a kind of a hobby. Before buying a meat grinder, we analyzed several models. The first conclusion: the most important feature of a meat grinder is the engine power. This STX has a powerful 1,800 watts engine, more than enough to do all of the duties of a home kitchen (and maybe even of a small restaurant). Other meat grinders with smaller engines, such as 500W or 800W, will not fit for heavy duty (10 or more pounds at once), nor will be able to deal with some kinds of meat.After some research, we ordered it from Amazon. The delivery time was as promised. The machine was very well packed in a so protective box.
Our first test of the product revealed that we made the right choice. Some points to highlight:
1. Most parts are polished aluminum. So easy for cleaning, very nice appearance;
2. The finishing is careful at every detail. It is clearly a good quality product;
3. It works wonderfully. The powerful engine is far more than enough for regular meat;
4. The ground meat texture results very similar to that from a supermarket grinder. I've seen other home meat grinders that produced a kind of a paste. This one, however, preserves the texture as it should be: perfect for hamburgers, tartar beef and so on;
5. It is so easy to assemble/disassemble and to operate. Impossible to mistake;
6. Despite we didn't use it yet, the sausage kit will be very helpful.
In short, this is a 5 stars product, no doubts about that.
But we had a problem: the aluminum parts are NOT dishwasher safe. We didn't notice that, and what went to the dishwasher was damaged: the shining was gone and those parts became some rough to touch. So, I contacted the seller (The Mercantile Station) and asked them the price of the replacing parts, since I would buy them. What a pleasant surprise: they promptly sent me an email asking for my address, and they kindly offered to send the parts for free (despite, I must stress, the damage was caused by me).
What an elegant attitude! So, would Amazon allow it, the seller would deserve SIX stars.
IMPORTANT NOTE: a few months after we bought our STX, the engine was improved to 2,000 watts, i.e, an increase of about 11%. I'd guess that, with this new and more powerful engine, the machine will able to perform an even heavier duty. My one is still working so fine, no complaints at all.
AN ADDITIONAL NOTE AFTER ALMOST 2 YEARS OF USE: the machine is still perfect, as when it was new. No problems at all. I am really impressed with the superior quality. A great deal!11/15/10: In order to clarify some of the comments in this thread I am updating my original review. There was a different model substituted on Amazon.com for the STX TURBO 1800 watt for a very brief period over the summer. During that time all of the reviews for the 1800 watt model showed up on the 2000 watt model and that led to a little bit of confusion. I made it worse by trying to clarify that I did not buy the 2000 watt one. I have now eliminated all comments in this thread that I made in regards to that small fiasco.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I recently decided to start making homemade cat food and spent quite a while researching grinders that would be up to the task of handling chicken bones on a routine basis. Most of the information available online from folks who are making their own cat food says that they are either using Tasin or Northern Tool grinders. The Vet whose Web site had the recipe that I am using referenced the Northern Tool grinder having been identical to the Tasin at a lower cost until a recent production change caused that product to start having issues with bones in some cases so I was looking for a similar high-wattage grinder and found the STX Turbo 1800 Watt Model. The power level far exceeded any that were available at my local retailers as well as others available on Amazon. The price was also very competitive with the Northern Tool product.
The change in my cats since the switch has been remarkable and I am now making food for numerous friends as well. Every Sunday I process 32-40 pounds of broilers through the STX Turbo 1800 Watt Model and it has worked like a charm for just over three months now. Once the majority of the meat has been removed from the birds and is ready to go through the coarse grind plate (the chunks fill 4-5 6-qt containers) the STX Turbo 1800 Watt will grind through that in less than 10 minutes if the meat is well chilled. The bones take longer because I double grind them through down to the 4-mm plate and unless the mixture is VERY cold is does not slide down the fill chute will on the second grind. The machine does not seem to bog down on the bones themselves, however. I have just had to learn to be responsive to the sound of the motor in order to know when to allow the blade time to catch up in order to achieve the fastest overall grinding speeds when processing the bones.
I am the extremely happy owner of the STX Turbo 1800 Watt Model and my 5 cats (and 26 shelter/foster cats plus several friend's cats) think that I am amazing because of the STX Turbo 1800 watt model!I had been using the meat grinder attachment on my KitchenAid mixer for years. I THOUGHT it was performing well for a home kitchen device. Sure, it took a long time, but isn't that to be expected? Then it started overheating and it was time to replace it.
I decided it was time to get a dedicated meat grinder since that was my favorite feature of the KitchenAid. I was looking for possibly an incremental upgrade (or at least no worse). Was I surprised....
This thing takes about 1/10 the time to grind meat and it doesn't turn the meat and fat to paste. The blades are heavy and sharp. The feeding tube is wide enough that you don't have to do a lot of preparation just to get the meat in the grinder. It grinds so fast that the feeding tray is useless--I just could not put the meat in fast enough.Bought this to save some money and make my own raw food for my dog and cat. I've put just about everything thru this grinder and it's never failed me. You might have to deal with jamming if you are doing huge batches, but you can avoid that by cleaning out the machine every 15 pounds or so of food. Chicken, turkey, quail and duck work well. It's a lot of work, cutting, grinding and cleaning, so do a lot at once and freeze it. I've had this machine over 2 years now and would highly recommend it to anyone that needs to put meat and bone thru it."STX TURBOFORCE 3000 SERIES 1800 WATT" 2.4 HP RATED ELECTRIC MEAT GRINDER 3 HARDENED STEEL CUTTING BLADES SAUSAGE STUFFING TUBES!!!
I was looking for a meat grinder that would grind bones for making pet food at home. I researched the Inet and read reviews on atleast 40 grinders. After doing so, I purchased the STX Turboforce 3000 and I am so glad I did. I read that if the meat was somewhat frozen, it was easier to grind in most grinders. I want to tell you, I was so excited to try out this grinder after purchase that I used thawed chicken legs and thighs (ofcourse, bones and all). This machine sucked them up and spit them out so quickly and easily that I could not believe my eyes. It was so much fun and so fast and the meat came out perfectly. I was surprised that it worked so easily without the meat being even the least bit frozen. I also ground up steak and made some great quality ground beef.
I washed the parts that were involved with the grinding so easily and sprayed some vegie oil on those parts per the instructions and have used this machine about 5 times now without any problems or regrets!
I love this grinder the look of it; the fantastic job it does; the price everything. It was delivered in about 7 days without any express shipping payments. One thing I was surprised about tho, many of the reviews said it was loud, but the 3000 model was not loud. It made a little noise but it was not bad at all.
I have to say, if you are looking for a really great meat grinder, I would highly recommend this one without hesitation and I am sure my dogs and cat would too. They love the food I have made for them and they are able to maintain their health at a lower cost for me! What's better than that?!
Happy grinding.

Love the look of this flatware set and serving items. They are funky and fun, and add a little quirky to my table. They do rust though. I bought a bottle of bar-keepers friend to polish them up every few months to remove spots. I was a little disapointed in that, since they were more expensive than my last set of silverware that never rusted. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they'd rust. Now that I have them, I just know how to care for them. Higher price = higher maintenance in this situation. If you don't mind a little polishing, these may be good for you. I've had the set for over a year now and have polished them 3 times.Want Gourmet Settings Exotique Platinum 5 pc Stainless Steel Hostess Set Discount?
I purchased the hostess set, place settings for eight and four of the little spoons. I am extremely happy with my new silverware. I went to a department store and picked up/felt silverware from about fifty different styles/manufacturers before I settled on these. Then I came home and ordered what I wanted from Amazon for a much better deal. If you desire a modern design that feels solid and comfortable, I would highly recommend this silverware. I have had it for about two months and wash it in the dishwasher daily. It comes out looking beautiful every time! QUALITY!!!
