Axis 6805 Expandable Plastic Kitchen Drawer Dividers, with 5-Piece

Just received these, and they seem nice. However, they will not fit in our drawers. If you are considering purchasing, be warned that these will not work in drawers that are less than 17.5" deep. Very disappointed that there were no specs given in the item description. It would have been helpful to know in advance, as I now will have to return them and pay the shipping to send them back.

On a side note, on the actual box that came in the mail, it says that they will fit all drawers up to 21" deep this is obviously not correct. It will fit drawers between 17.5" and 21" deep.

I've been looking for a way to organize this kitchen drawer for a while. I have many odd shaped tools and wanted to maximize the space. This item worked just fine. Most drawer organizers don't give you enough options this one gives you quite a few options and really holds in place well! Some drawbacks it's plastic (so not very pretty) and they could have easily made a few more slots for even more options on orientation. But, overall, a good investment & really does the job well.

Works great, I was a bit concerned about the white plastic color vs a dark/mahogany color wood drawer, but it actually looks nice. There is no 'bonus set', the bonus is that it comes with the 3 small dividers. Nothing special about the $20 price on Amazon, that is what it costs at bed bad and beyond, and if you use the always available 20% discount, you can get it for $16.

I was skeptical about how this would look and act, being plastic, because I didn't want it to look cheap or hokey in my brand new remodeled kitchen. But these look great. I added a picture to show what I did with two of these kits in my wide junk drawer. The spring tension has not slipped around, and was easy to install. Haven't had to mess with it at all since putting them in a month ago. Pleasantly surprised with the outcome.

Portion PadL and Rocker Knife Combo

Every Friday night is homemade pizza and a movie family night. The metal disk pizza cutters last a couple of months and go dull and it was a challenge to cut straight with the toppings being pushed around. We saw this and decided to give it a try. It works great. Center the pizza, push the cutter down in the center and rock it back and forth a couple of times in the grove and you have a nice straight cut.

It is not big enough for our largest pizza pan, but if your pizza fits on this board it works great!

Reed & Barton Provincial Two Drawer 571M Flatware Chest

I was a little worried about this purchase because some reviewers said it was cheaply made and only had one drawer. I received the chest and it had two drawers. It has good construction, although the drawers are a little loose. The wood is nicely stained. The handles are securely fastened. Overall, for the price, it was worth it.

The chest comes with an envelope so you can get a personalized engraved plaque. I am pleased with the purchase.

Bought this for my wife. She loves it. It 's like a piece of fine furniture. Great product, alot of storage.

This is a really well made chest. Better than the picture shows. The wood finish is well done. The size is perfect for the set that I have. The drawers slide very easily. The interior is well covered with the silver felting. And the hardware is elegant and practical. Definitely a great piece! The only think I wish is that it came with short legs. KitchenAid 12-Piece Forged Block Knife Set, Candy Apple Red

Candy apple red is right! These knives caught my eye because of the awesome color of the handles and of course I had to have them. I'm thinking "they're knives... they have a handle and a stainless steel blade, what else do I need in a knife?" Clearly I'm no 4-star chef and my previous set of knives was a cheap Farberware set of serrated knives that I had owned for twenty years. I wish this set had a 7" Santoku instead of the included 4" version but no big deal, I purchased the 7" separately.

Well, they are knives and they cut, chop, slice and are quite useable. But then I washed them and placed in my dish drainer to dry and found rust spots on the blades. WTF?! These aren't made of iron, they are forged stainless steel... even my cheap Farberware knives NEVER developed any rust and I treat 'em pretty rough, leaving them wet all the time as I toss them into the sink and what not. I'm very disappointed about this as I've never seen any of my cutlery or flatware rust.

In summary these knives look great and certainly do the job but I panic if I forget to wash and dry these knives immediately after use.

These knives are a great set and good value. Knives are very sharp and very well built. We get lots of use out of them and they never disappoint,

I purchased this after my son decided to hide my old standard spatula that I used all the time. This is a bit larger then I need for making breakfast but works great for my BBQ grill. I've seen these used aboard the different ships I've worked on over the years and noticed that they can take years of commerical grade daily use and still hold up (I've seen some ship original issue spatulas that are going on 15 years of daily use at this point!) Great to support an American made product and company. I would recommend a 3" x 6" for kitchen use.

We have been using this brand of plastic knives for a few years now. They are not especially sharp, which I like because I am comfortable allowing my 5 year old daughter to use them. However, they get the job done and slice through soft food easily. Oneida Mandolina 65 Piece Set - Service for 12

Bought the same set for $79.99 plus $5.00 s&h from woot dot com. Just received it, very nice set. Happy I got a bargain!

I purchased the Oneida Mandolina flatware during a Woot-Off at Woot last week. The flatware arrived today in a nicely wrapped package.

Upon opening the package, and examining the flatware, I discovered the Mandolina flatware is ornately carved, as pictured, but did not realize how shiny this flatware was going to be. The flatware is much shinier than I would normally like, and would have thought twice about before buying, but it's not too bad. I prefer more of a matte finish.

Also, the decorative engraving seems a bit shallow and lacks depth. The shiny metal may have something to do with this effect. Who knows.

The flatware is lightweight, not super heavy-duty, but it's not bad.

I will be using the flatware during the upcoming holidays. I will update this review after the holidays are over.

Recommend with caveats given.

First, the shears: not quite as good as normal kitchen shears: the angles are little odd for me.

The knives:

Steak knives: these are the main purpose we bought this for. They are good, cut through steaks like they ought to. The grip feels nice and the edge has held for the first few months.

The cook knives: these are not as good as another brand bought at a local warehouse club. The balance feels off. If some highly skilled person takes offense, it may be that I am used to a brand bought at a local warehouse club and those are wrong...but these feel like the weight comes back too much to the handle.

The edges are good. The handles feel solid but not comfortable. Consistent use across the past few months has dulled them somewhat, but they have sharpened easily.

Towle Living Basic Spreaders, Set of 4

I am very pleased with the quality of these spreaders. They match my silverware set and are a good hand weight (i.e., feel balanced in the hand).

These have no heft to them at all. The posted product description for size is: .5 x 1.6 x 7.9 inches (copy and paste). I just measured a knife--it is a tad less than 6" in length. Very thin. I'm keeping them because I need them. Will shop for more later after thorough research. The local Bed, Bath, and Beyond has been carrying and I have been buying odd pieces of stainless cutlery--but no butter type knives. They are not expensive and have a real heft to them: iced tea spoons, tiny spoons, shrimp cocktail type forks, and the best soup spoons I have ever had my hands on. And yes, they have regular knife, fork, and spoon etc. pieces. When I checked the BB&B website I found no stainless cutlery accessories.

Oneida Azalea 20-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 4

We needed to supplement the flatware we already had and I was happy to find the style on here. I like that I can buy spoons and forks, etc. separately as well.

It looks nice but the design is uncomfortable to hold. The back of the silverware is dished so there's a square corner on the back corner edges. Poor design in my opinion. Returned it right away (thanks Amazon).

Waterford Padova 45 Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set (Includes 5 Piece Hostess Serving Set)

I bought this set at Costco's for $69.95 on Dec 21, 2012 and my wife loves it. It is really beautiful with a 18/10 stainless steel rating that won't rust like 18/0 does. Usually Amazon has the lowest prices. I'm suprised they sell it for $159.00

I just received this set today and it is very lovely. The pieces are a nice weight, not too heavy, not too light, but they feel substantial. The silver is very shiny, much shinier than the picture shows them to be. The beading at the bottom and near the top really makes it stand out, this set could be used casually or with fine china. The serving set is very nice as well. I'm very happy with this set and would highly recommend it. I bought it for everyday use to replace a set that was missing many pieces. It is dishwasher safe which was a plus for me, so I hope it holds up well over time. Don't hesitate to buy it, it's really pretty!

I like the design of this pattern and the finish is very smooth and shiny. After 10-20 washes in the dishwasher it still looks good. One thing to note is that the butter knives are quite sharpI actually cut myself with it by accident. Made in Vietnamweird how 30+ years ago we had US troops fighting there and now we get Waterford silverware from there.

Wusthof Gourmet 8-Inch Serrated Bread Knife

Typically I will spend the extra cash on Wusthof's Classic line of knives because they are not stamped, rather forged (and trust me hold a much keener edge) and as I put these knives to work 40 hours a week i need that, but in the case of serrated knives, even with heavy usage(with proper care of course), the gourmet line holds up.

That said, if you are purchasing knives for your home, i.e. light usage, and not a professional environment I would lean toward the gourmet line for all of wusthof's products.

We bought this knife for my father-in-law for Christmas and he absolutely loves it. He said that he didn't realize how bad his other bread knife was until he started using this one. We've been slowly purchasing him Wusthof knives to replace his collection. We also use them ourselves and they are great! Cooking with sharp knives makes all the difference in the world and Wusthof is worth the money.

Greetings fellow amazonians, now that I have been in the carnival for a while I wanted to start to learn some extra skills that my come in handy (you know fire eating, glass chewing or any other desirable skill that's out there). I picked up these knives because they looked cool and because our local knife thrower was going to teach me how to do it. First he said I had to find an assistant and since mongo already works the funhouse I couldn't take him. So Eugene was the lucky one since he spends most of the day playing dungeons and dragons, and video games. Once I pulled him away from the computer I started my first lesson. The knife thrower said I needed to become the blade. I didn't know what that meant but I hoped he didn't want me to stab myself with it. He then clarified that I needed to make the blade like another body part; I understood this better; I just don't have any body parts that I typically throw. So the time had come and I set myself to throw the knife as eugene stood there against a wooden wall with an apple on his head. I told him to close his eye, but I could see he was too terrified. I pulled my arm back and let the knife rip. At that moment eugene ran as fast as he could out the door (I have never seen anyone run that fast). It turns out that it was a good thing that eugene left. My aim isn't so good and the knife hit the wooden wall right where eugenes chest would have been. The knife thrower was till impressed because I hit the apple as it fell to the ground so I may have a future in this after all. Thanks amazon for these great knives.

We started with these knives, but quickly traded them in for J.A. Henckels S.O.S. High Carbon Stainless Steel Steak Knives, Set of 4 The Mansion knives just don't cut steak, while the S.O.S (aka: Zwilling J.A. Henckels) do a terrific job and look great!

We're enjoying this set of knives (the ones they replaced were over 30 years old). They have a nice weight and balance and do well in the dishwasher. The serrated edges make them useful for other foods, too. We would recommend them to anyone who's looking for moderately-priced steak knives that are also nice-looking.
