This is a great cutting board, large enough to carve a large roast or turkey with a drip ridge around so the jucies don't run over. It is quite big and solid and well made. I am thinking of getting another one to put on another counter in my kitchen as I like to keep a clean board on the counter all the time.
I purchased this service for 8 flatware set and also a service for 4 flatware set (both Satin Sand Dune) three months ago, so I could have a complete service for 12. Since my purchase, it appears that there has been some mix-up in Oneida's labeling of the flatware. Some customer reviews state that the flatware is not actually 18/8, but 18/0, and, therefore, poorer quality and an inferior product.

We had this flatware for 4 years and it still looks okay. But now we are buying new ones because it has lost its shine from all the washing. Can cut through steak but not so with ease unlike other brands. Lightweight and just right for everyday use but not for more formal dinings. For 18/0 this is okay for everyday. Simple but not elegant.
I purchased this flatware set to supplement the large set I have had for many years and use daily. I like its classic design and easy care(compared to silver). It has a good feel in the hand.

I chose this knife because I liked the profile of the blade. Most utility knives have a drop point and the blade is tapered on both sides. This one has a straight point and is only tapered on the bottom. I wasn't disappointed. It's a sturdy design and very versatile. The hollow edge makes slicing vegetables so much easier. I used it to slice a turkey breast and it made a very neat, quick job of it.

Like most people with toddlers, my cupboards were overflowing with mismatched dishes. I have bought a few other kids plates and cups over the years and these are by far the sturdiest. The plastic is very thick and sturdy. I am very impressed. My kids are 2,4,6 and they love to pick the colors that they are going to eat with.I absolutely love these! My daughter is one and a half and she can use them! I haven't had these very long but they seem to be wearing well (they haven't stained or turned white in spots from the microwave/dishwasher). The large handles make it easier for kids to use and the mix and match colors are fun. For the price I paid and the amount of stuff I got, I have no regrets. Very good purchase.

Two of these were purchased as a gift for my mother-in-law to protect the laminate counter tops in her apartment. She bubbled the laminate in her old apartment putting hot cookware on it and since we have a couple glass cutting boards are our house we got these for her. Some people may not prefer glass as the surface for a cutting board because the noise it makes. Maybe if I were a master chef with mad knife skills it would be a problem but to me the noise is minimal and not a problem. Unlike many other materials for cutting boards the glass allows you to use it as a trivet for hot items. These are attractive and useful cutting boards that are just about the right size.
I use this to portion peanut butter, as it's a 1 tablespoon measure far too much for a serving of butter, but just right for a peanut butter sandwich. The flexible bowl makes it easy to remove the peanut butter from the spoon, and the other end works well for spreading on bread.

Hands down the finest knife I have ever owned. I used to get a lot of flack from people for using a "demo" knife for everyday usage in the kitchen. It is worth the investment , the price is steep but for a serious chef it is an investment, I have never had a problem with this knife holding it's edge. Needs little to no sharpening, I sharpen mine once maybe twice a month, and steeling the knife takes some practice since it's an 80/20. I sharpen mine on 11 degrees and 15 degrees. I also use a jewelry polishing cloth to keep it like new. If you get any stains on th knife a little ajax or comet will remove them with ease.

This is a great little huller. I find it works best to squeeze it like a tweezer, insert it, then twist it about 45-90 degrees and the hull comes right out. I would like the open end of the huller to be a little closer together so you don't have to squeeze it so hard but this may happen eventually with use. This is a good size and shape to promote fine motor skills. The resistance is good for all but the smallest preschoolers. I have not used this as a strawberry huller, but to develop fine motor skills by picking up small objects. I wanted to return this item. It is defective as all of the Chicago Cutlery Knives I purchased in this group. The rivets on all of the handles are not ground flush. They stick up. I have purchased and used Chicago Cutlery Knives for over 30 years and never seen inferior quality such as these. I wasn't allowed the 30 days after I received it. I've been metal detecting for 25 years and have tried a number of different types of "digging tools". Garden knives offer the best size blade for quickly popping a coin out of the ground while not causing too much disruption to the surrounding grass. After breaking two of the Fiskar garden knives in half, I purchased one of these. The knife itself is fantastic great for pulling weeds, dividing perennials, planting annuals, bulbs, veggies, etc. It's a very thick piece of stainless steel and a nice grip. I don't expect any problems with it. Just don't lose the thing. It does have the hole in the handle so you can hang it up if you'd like. The sheath isn't all that great, it tends to swivel a bit when clipped to your belt or pants pocket. I'd definitely recommend this tool, a must for any gardener.
The knives themselves are very sharp and I am pleased with their quality.

The knives arrived sharp and ready to use. The block is sturdier than I though it would be for the price of the set, which was a pleasant surprise. They have a nice feel to them when you're chopping away. We've used them several times daily for over a month now and they keep their edge better than some of the expensive sets we've purchased in the past. I haven't had any rust spots appear either, but we always wash and dry our knives by hand immediately after use to prevent that from happening. We also only use solid wood cutting boards, which seem to be easier on the knives than the plastic or glass ones. Overall, it is a great set for a good price.

My brother got me this as a gift a few years ago and my husband and I are constantly grabbing for it at the same time, so when my mother-in-law requested one for Christmas, I ordered a couple of extra for the house. The blade is really sharp, the handle is nicely formed, and the red color makes it easy to find in a crowded utensil drawer if you're not using the plastic sleeve that it ships in. Love this knife.
This is a wickedly sharp paring knife but it's a little lighter than I prefer after using forged knives for years. Also, the handle is kind of small for large hands. Still, it's a good price and supports a company that still produces (at least some of its products) in the USA.

Like all the Ken Onion knives, it's a thing of beauty. Unfortunately, the first time we used it, to break down a chicken, it chipped--a half-moon eighth of an inch crescent whacked out of the center of the blade. This was on a quality cutting board, and with proper technique, at least the way we understand it. We certainly weren't trying to hack through PVC or something. Sent it back for a refund. Our other Ken Onion Shun knives are keepers, though definitely on the more fragile side--not to be tossed around like cheaper cutlery. This is a very nice cleaver, very sharp, very solid and I personally like the style of the handle(I have big hands). It has a thick blade with a good wieght and was very sharp on receival(still is). It has made all the other chefs I work with quite envious. This is my 5th Ken Shun collection piece in addition to the 4-pc steak knife set, and my husband and are completely amazed and impressed. Yes, these knives are a bit on the expensive side, but they are worth it, even according to my hubby who leans more towards the "frugal" side. Interesting back story: I had previously purchased a Global cleaver (also through Amazon) and with it being my first cleaver and having nothing to compare it to, thought it was pretty good. My hubby and I used it several times for similar tasks (hacking through chicken bones, etc.) and were pleased. To my dismay, the Global knife started to rust and pit!
