Calphalon Katana Cutlery 3-1/2-Inch VG Paring Knife

Calphalon Katana Cutlery 3-1/2-Inch VG Paring KnifeThis is a very nice mid-level damascus paring knife. Is very sharp and holds an edge nicely.

The handle has a very unique feel and does sit different than other knife's that I have owned, but that is not a bad thing. The tang runs at right angle to the handle as opposed to parallel, which is normal. It is well worth the price and for those who would like to upgrade their kitchen this is a good step.

originally received this as part of the large set, but someone used it to try to slice a 1/2-day-old bagel and it slipped onto the granite countertop, totally bending a good portion of the tip, which is surprising given the umpteenth layering process for "hardness". nonetheless, i'm very happy with this knife.

I think this knife is ok. I feel for a little more money i would have been a lot more happy. But i went in fully knowing what i was getting into. The construction of the knife feels hallow and lacks personality that you would expect from Damascus steel. I don't quite have buyers remorse but I do think a little more quality could be added. The only thing saving this product from a one star review is the price.

Gibson Montara 20-Piece 18/0 Stainless Steel Sandblast Flatware Set

Gibson Montara 20-Piece 18/0 Stainless Steel Sandblast Flatware SetI ordered these and they arrived just fine and in a quick amount of time. I was suprised to see Sunbeam on the package. Guess I didn't realize that Gibson and Sunbeam were the same. Also, the set I was replacing was stamped with 18/0 and they were a nice heavy weight but these, which are also 18/0 are considerably lighter and thinner. I guess I will have to get used to them. Not sure why there is such a difference but they will work just fine.

Wood Utility/Bread Cutting Boards

Wood Utility/Bread Cutting Board, 16 X 22I needed one to replace the one that came with our cabinets. The one I had was warped too much to fit into the slides. This one is a perfect fit for that. It has a notched edge on each end so you can reach in and grab it to pull it out. I use it all the time and it works well

I am adding on here in December because this cutting board is not holding up too well. It is starting to split. It is keeping its flat shape so I can still stick it into the slot in my cabinet. Time will tell on this, but at 6 months, I would expect better.

This product was badly misrepresented. The photograph shows endcaps; there are no endcaps on the board. The product description indicates hardwood construction; the board we received is glued together pieces of pine (which is considered soft wood), not a quality hardwood (such as maple, walnut or bamboo), that we expected for the price of the board. Unfortunately, we needed this piece for a rental unit, and have already cut a groove in it to be able to pull it out of the slot or we would be returning it. We have successfully purchased many items from Amazon, and are saddened by this experience.

Wenger Grand Maitre 5-1/2-Inch Cheese Knife

Wenger Grand Maitre 5-1/2-Inch Cheese KnifeMy husband owns his enth Swiss Army knife and loves it. I thought that this knife was going to be loved by me. Unfortunately, it is not really strong for cheese as moderately hard as a Gouda. I had to cut the cheese in smaller pieces in order to have the knife cut it into slices. Not really ideal.

OXO SoftWorks Can Opener

OXO SoftWorks Can OpenerAfter going through a bunch of not-much-cheaper can openers we gave in and bought this one. My mom has had hers for years and it still works perfectly.

An electric can opener is great ... when you have electricity, if the blade is not dull, if it does not chew the label, if it handles tall and fat cans without splatter. This opener handles everything and turns with ease. I have been ignoring the electric monster in favor of this smooth operator.

Buy OXO SoftWorks Can Opener Now

This manual can opener works wonderfully on small and gallon sized cans. I ruined my electirc can opener using it on gallon sized cans. This doesn't slip out of your hand or off the can. After ordering and trying it out, I ordered two more for my twins.

Read Best Reviews of OXO SoftWorks Can Opener Here

I got this can opener hoping to save money and space over an electric. For the first year or two this one worked perfectly, and I didn't at all miss having an electric opener. It did the job well and was comfortable on my hands. But I started having trouble after a couple of years, and at the 3 1/2 year mark, it needs to be replaced. It's getting a little rusty and hard to use; now I can open a can with some effort but have a lot of trouble prying it open again to take it off the can. I risk spilling the contents of the can. Also, the handles are coming a bit loose so that water seeps down into them, gets gross, and occasionally squishes out when I try to push them back in place.

Granted, these issues may have been avoided if I didn't wash the can opener, or washed it much less often. But it seems to me a can opener needs to be washed when the juice from the can gets on the blade. (On the other hand, you can't throw an electric one in the dishwasher at all, which presents another issue.) So take your chances. If you're willing to handwash and meticulously dry, go without washing much, or know you just need an opener occasionally or for a couple years, this may be great for you.

Want OXO SoftWorks Can Opener Discount?

Well, maybe it is because I have used so many crappy openers in the past (my fault for being a cheap-o), but I am just overwhelmed at how effortlessly this gadget works. I could not believe how easy and cleanly it opened the first can I used it on.

A real WINNER!.....just hope it holds up.

Furi Rachael Ray 7-Inch Sharp-and-Store Self-Sharpening Knife with Stand

Furi Rachael Ray 7-Inch Sharp-and-Store Self-Sharpening Knife with StandI bought this knife after seeing Rachel Ray talk about how wonderful it was because it stays sharp. Well, no it doesn't. I even slide it in and out of the holder/sharpening blades a few times before each use but it doesn't help. It's no better than my other knives, which also need manual sharpening. Oh well.

Okay, let me say first that I'm a young man that knows his way around the kitchen. I'm also a young man who doesn't have a high opinion of Rachel Ray. My mom actually bought me this knife because she knows that I enjoy cooking. As soon as I saw Rachel Ray, I was skeptical. That being said, let me now tell you this; this knife has replaced my Henkel. I don't know what these other people are doing that dulls this knife...maybe they're using a glass cutting board or something. I've used this thing daily for about 7 months now and it is still razor sharp. If you're considering this item, buy it, you won't be disappointed....unless perhaps you're using a glass cutting board.

I was looking forward to getting a great knife and was excited when it finally arrived, but my delight turned into disillusionment when I opened the package. Although it was securely packaged, the self-storing stand was already cracked where the knife is inserted -obviously a manufacturing flaw. The plastic handle has a cushy grip, but when my hand got wet, the handle became slippery and hard to control -unlike my previous wood-handled knives. The blade is thicker and heavier than what I'm used to, but that's probably a personal preferenceRachael Ray Gusto-Grip 7-Inch Sharp Store Self-Sharpening Knife with Stand. I expected better quality from a $59+ knife from a famous chef. I hope it keeps its edge. We'll see.

I have always wanted one of these since I saw Rachael demonstrate it on her show in "kitchen must-haves". I always had trouble keeping my knives sharp, even though I pride myself in my knife sharpening ability, someone else using my kitchen always threw my knives into the drawer with other knives and they would get knicks and dulled, (and I would be furious) I had a knife block for them to go into, but for some odd reason I am the only one in my house to get the concept that the knives GO IN THE BLOCK not in the drawer. With this knife... it has it's own stand/sheath, and it gets sharpened every time you take it out of the sheath and put it back in.

It can even get tossed into the drawer in the sheath and it will be protected and you won't get cut reaching into the drawer because it is safe.

It sits nicely on the cutting board or counter until I want to use it again.

It has a good weight to it, and feels good in the hand. It cuts beautifully and is sharp EVERY time!

I highly recommend getting one of these, it's expensive BUT WORTH IT!

Want Furi Rachael Ray 7-Inch Sharp-and-Store Self-Sharpening Knife with Stand Discount?

This knife is a little pricey but worth it. It is extremely sharp (be careful when removing from holder). You won't have to dig through your drawer to find the right knife, this one will do it all. With the exception of a serrated knife and a small pearing knife, I got rid of all the other knives in the drawer that never cut right. You could keep it on the counter or put the entire piece in a drawer for safety, especially if you have children, you would not want to leave it on counter. Very sharp, very versitile.

Norpro 404 Grip-EZ Silicone Handle Grip

Norpro 404 Grip-EZ Silicone Handle GripI bought this for my lodge cast iron pans. It is significantly longer and looser than I expected on the handles. While it does protect my hands, I still have to lift the pans carefully, so they do not slip off. My solution was to cut 1.5 inches off of the end-it fits a bit better, but is not nearly as snug as I had hoped. All in all, it does the job.

Innovative pot holder. Is great for keeping pan handles cool and it stays on handle but is flexible enough to remove to put on other pan handles.

I bought 4 (hoping they would fit) for our Calphalon pots/pans so I wouldn't have to take one off to put on another as I was cooking. They work great with our gas stove with no hot spots. Thinking about buying more for the pots/pans I don't use as often. They remove easily so I can wash and drip dry along with my cookware but are snug enough that they don't move around while you are cooking.

Victorinox Chef's Knife

Victorinox Swiss Classic 8' Chef's KnifeCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program When given the opportunity to test a kitchen product from the makers of my old and trusted 1961 Swiss Army Knife, I knew quality was not going to be an issue. Opening the box, the Victorinox 8" Chef's Knife leaves quite an impression. Now for the test.

Mounted with a feel good handle and a high carbon stainless steel blade, the Victorinox 8" Chef's Knife has great balance and a nice ergonomic feel. Make no mistake, this blade arrives sharp. I put it to the real test of cutting up partially thawed whole chickens. It handled the task with ease.

The next night, it was my go to tool for dicing vegetables for stew. Once again, it proved itself as a worthy cutting accessory. Last night it passed the test for carving an oven roast. It goes without saying that it aided my carving technique greatly and delivered on perfect, even slices each and every time.

The National Sanitary Foundation (NSF) placed its seal of approval on this great kitchen tool. Its also dishwasher safe. True to its billing, I noticed no discoloration or spotting on the blade or handle after running it through the dishwasher. Like Victorinox's great line of pocket knives, the manufacturer also tags this product with a lifetime warranty against defects in materials and craftsmanship.

The overall quality of the Victorinox 8" Chef Knife has exceeded my expectations. Its now become one of my favorite go to kitchen drawer tools. I recommend it.

The blade is as good as anything I've used in a professional kitchen. Slices through fruit and vegetable skins with ease, and has the right shape for working quickly. It would get 5 stars were it not for the handle. I'm not crazy about the texture and the shape could be more comfortable. For the price, it's good, but I'm not in love with it.

Lock&Lock Cookplus Rainbow Knife Set with Block, 7-Piece

Lock&Lock Cookplus Rainbow Knife Set with Block, 7-PieceCustomer review from the Amazon Vine Program This entry level knife block set will get the job done for those who do casual cooking and food preparation. The knives come protected in the box so you likely won't cut yourself as you unpack them. They are all initially very sharp and very clean with no detectable industrial gunk on them like I've seen on other new kitchen products -but I still washed them initially.

The company claims that these knives are European style, and they are shaped a little different than your standard American kitchen knives. Is that better or worse? The jury is still out but I know that they get the job done. The box and manual keep mentioning "Germany" and "European" but do realize that these were made in China with only the metal from Germany. Also, one of the knives is Oriental style (santoku knife) so really this set is a mixture of cultures. :)

I like that the brief manual simply explains how to use the knife sharpener. There is nothing different here in the instructions but I am happy they have basic instructions in there for anyone who has never done the task. The manual also has brief instructions on product care and describes each item in more detail which I find a nice touch. Speaking of product care, the manual expects you to hand wash these despite them being stainless steel. Out of curiosity, I decided to put one of them in the dishwasher. I now have a small rust spot on the knife so definitely hand wash these. I am not taking off anything from the rating for this rust stain because I strayed from the manual but it probably means that the quality of the stainless steel isn't quite what we hoped for so be careful to not let these knifes sit in moisture. Also, do not use an abrasive cleaner or abrasive sponge to clean these knives as the shinny blades are very susceptible to scratching.

The scissors (or shears) are really well thought out in how it disassembles so that it can be easily cleaned which is extremely important when dealing with meats and foods. The scissors include a half moon notch likely for bone breaking/cutting. Near the handle you also have what I think is a bottle/can opener, a nut cracker, and a screw driver. Oddly enough, the nut cracker isn't arched like many other kitchen scissors but I haven't tried this feature yet to see if the missing arch hurts performance.

The wood block looks nice and seems well constructed. The knives fit well in all the slots. The knife handles are solid and seem built to last. Overall this is a very nice entry level knife set but there is a lot of competition out there so check the 'best seller' list to compare.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program This knife set is nothing spectacular but that doesn't keep it from being a good, well-rounded set of budget knives. They arrived sharp and have remained sharp through several uses. The blades are made from German steel and feel sturdy although they do seem a little on the lightweight side. They also seem a a tad undersized. For the price though you can't go wrong. I get the most use out of the chef's knife, the bread slicer and the scissors. Just about everything else has stayed in the block. If you need a set on a budget, this is definitely worth considering.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program The Lock&Lock Cookplus Rainbow 7-Piece Knife Set with Block is an attractive and affordable kitchen knife set with a number of high end features. There are many chef's knifes and sets on the market, most copying the look and feel of high priced German and American brands. The Cookplus Rainbow 7-Piece Knife Set features handles, bolsters and profiles that closely mimic the classic model knives from J.A. Henckels. The set promotes that it is "made from German stainless steel" without saying exactly where the knives themselves are made.

All the included knives make a very good impression as budget priced Henckels clones, and are sharp and good to go out of the box. The block is smallish and won't take up a lot of counter space. An important detail for many users is that the knives are relatively smallish, easy to maneuver and to hold for women and other users with smaller hands. All in all a competent and solid looking set at a good price. RECOMMENDED.

Want Lock&Lock Cookplus Rainbow Knife Set with Block, 7-Piece Discount?

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I have some real mixed feelings about this knife set. I really like the feel and balance of the very large knives in the set though I am not particularly fond of the bread knife but the knives here are not the ones that I tend to most use during cooking. If you cook, you are going to want another, perhaps smaller paring knife, and a somewhat larger serrated knife for cutting fruit and vegetables. You could, of course, buy some separately, but the storage block has no extra slots like most knife sets do, so this is essentially a set of large knives, except for the one smaller one.

So while I like the knives, they just aren't the selection you would most expect. It isn't a very well balanced group of knives.

Also, the cooking shears included are among the worst I've ever seen. They are awkward to handle and fairly uncomfortable to use, mainly because of the can opener and lid opener on each handle. Although I'm not fond of the scissors, they do have one nice feature over other cooking shears I've seen: they easily come apart for easy cleaning. And they are easy to put back together.

All in all, I would recommend someone needing a good set of knives to go with an alternative, one offering more smaller knives. But if you already have a lot of smaller knives and really just need larger ones, this might be a good set for you.

Rada Cutlery Six Utility Steak Knives Gift Set, 6 Pc Boxed Set (Non-Serrated) Made in USA

Rada Cutlery Six Utility Steak Knives Gift Set, 6 Pc Boxed Set Made in USA, Aluminum HandlesThese knives are sharp. I have both the serrated and non serrated steak knives. They are the best value of cheap, quality steak knives I have found. The only reason it did not receive 5 stars is I wish the handles were a little bit bigger. Even with my small hands, my pinky finger is right on the edge. The handle could also be a little thicker for more comfort. Overall, I love them and they are dishwasher safe. A word of advise: It's cheaper to buy 3 packs of 2 rather than the six pack.

We were given Rada knives as a gift about 15 years ago and have always referred to them as the 'good knives'. I just ordered an entire set through Amazon and were amazed at how affordable they are. They come surgical sharp and keep their edge for a LONG time. Just hand wash them to keep the handles from greying.

Bottom line: EXCELLENT quality knifes, affordable, and MADE IN THE U.S.A! How can you beat that!

8" Block with Deep Dish Chopping Bowl and Walnut Handled Ulu

8' Block with Deep Dish Chopping Bowl and Walnut Handled UluI've had an ulu and chopping block for several years, but wanted a second one for our travel trailer. The chopping block is so nice that I'm putting the old one in the trailer, and making this one the star of my kitchen. If you do a lot of slicing and dicing, you've got to try this!!

My husband and I love this set. The slightly deeper bowl is great (could be greater yet if it were even deeper). The knife is very sharp and the bowl helps keep things from getting all over the counter while chopping. We use it for everything from green onions to walnuts.

I was looking for a cutting board for an Ulu knife I already owned, and this set seemed to have the best board (the thickest board, which would have the deepest bowl.) I have my right wrist partially fused due to arthritis, and the Ulu knife is easier for me to use than a chef's knife. The knife arrived sharp and ready to use. The wooden components were not sanded as smoothly as I'd like, but I can fix that easily. I put it to work immediately, preparing food for a big barbecue, quickly cutting raw bacon, onions, peppers, cheese, celery and nuts. It cleaned up easily between ingredients due to its small size, and cut everything perfectly without giving me pain or fatigue in my wrist. I believe that with periodic applications of food grade mineral oil, my chopping block will serve me well for many years.

Victorinox 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife, Rosewood Handle

Victorinox 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife, Rosewood HandleThis knife is hella sharp. It is also really inexpensive.

Having awesome kitchen equipment is all about knowing where to spend your money. Don't do it for paring knives, and definitely don't spend it on non-stick skillets. You'll probably use your paring knife more often that any other knife, so it needs to be easy to hone, take abuse, and easy to replace if it disappears. Since paring knives are used for so many cutting tasks, no matter what, you will need to sharpen them beyond using an honing steel. That will typically set you back $8, and if you cook a lot, you should get a professionally sharpenening at least 3 times a year. That equals $20+ a year to keep 1 knife sharp. Gosh...I could buy a few new, razor sharp Forchners for less than that!

This is a stamped blade. It is mass produced. Is is cheap! Importantly, it comes out of the package sharper than all hell. After a few days of hard use, yes, you will need to hone the edge but it only takes a few quick swipes. Try doing that with a Wusthof. Not to knock them, they are great knives. My Forschners hang next to a Wusthof, Shuns, and handmade custom pieces knives I love. But which do I use most often? Which is the most practical? My 2 Forschner paring knives.

One aspect I really like about the knives is the fact that they are lightweight. This differentiates them from your German knives, as well as many of your Japanese blades as well. A paring knive accomplished nothing by having heft a blade this size isn't be be used when you need leverage (such as with a cleaver or chef's knife). It takes less effort to hold and cut with this knife, that you hand gets less fatigued. If you're prepping a ton of food, this makes a difference!

My wife and I are extremely avid home cooks. Its what we do when we aren't at work (3+ hours every weekday, and more on the weekends). I'm not a pro, but I have been, and I know what I'm talking about.

I've been using Forschner's for almost 5 years. I like these knives so much that I'm giving them as Christmas presents this year. Sharp knives that look good (i.e., the wooden handled Forschners) are a great way to encourage more people to cook. They're easy, inexpensive presents, and the blade is sure to impress. Do they look as sexy as my Shuns? Not a chance, but for a paring knife, they work better. And to be clear, yes, I do have a Shun paring knife (it's a little dusty and greasy looking, for lack of use). None of my other knives stay as sharp as my Forschners, because honing them is so quick!

These knives are cheap buy one, see how sharp it is, and see how easy it is to keep it sharp. Or go ahead and buy your fancy pants Wusthof spend a lot more money. But do you really need to? Paring knives are, unfortunately, often thrown away with kitchen scraps.

If you want to impress people with the look of your knives, then buy the rosewood handle.

Two unacceptable problems with this knife: Wooden handle has strange, nauseating odor that even transferred to my hand. Odor did not go away even after a few days. Also, there is a gap between the end of the blade and the part of the handle where it sits; food and bacteria could easily lodge there. Too bad, because the blade itself cuts well.

Buy Victorinox 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife, Rosewood Handle Now

I have had several of these over the years and they are the best paring knife I have ever used. I use the plastic handled version on larger knives but I really like the wood on this smaller one because it is a little thicker and easier to hang on to than the plastic ones.

Read Best Reviews of Victorinox 3-1/4-Inch Paring Knife, Rosewood Handle Here

I've owned this knife for a long time, and it's been nothing but reliable and handy. Its given us no trouble, and has held up perfectly.

This is a stamped steel knife and the handle is rosewood that has been teated to seal it. Although wood-handled knifes have been banned from commercial kitchens for sanitation reasons, residential cooks still use them. I've never had a problem with the handle.

The blade is made out of high-carbon, no-stain steel. So far, it's been great, no stains, rust, or corrosion. The blade isn't full tang (doesn't extend all the way through the handle), and there's no bolster, but this is a paring knife, so there's no need for one.

The steel was finished very well from the factory, rivaling my other knives costing 3 times more. It performs well. The thin blade profile easily slices through anything, and was shaving-sharp from the factory. It sharpens very easily, takes a fine edge, and stays sharp as long as my forged knives. The edge angle was spot-on at 21 degrees.

Overall, a great knife for the price. Don't let the stamped construction, slit-tang, and rosewood handle discourage you...buy it!

A very good paring knife. Flexible but stiff enough when necessary. The knife came nearly razor sharp with a precisely beveled edge and comes back very well with a ceramic steel. The Ultimate Edge Model 10NSS Stainless-Steel Handle Diamond Sharpening Steel

The Ultimate Edge Model 10NSS Stainless-Steel Handle Diamond Sharpening SteelIf you value your cutlery as a professional chef, an avid cooker, or even a homemaker that does quite a bit of slicing and dicing, a good investment in a sharpening steel will not only prolong your cutlery sharp edges, but also prolong the lifetime of your cutlery in general.

I have various type of knives: From the common western style cutlery (beveled edges to serrated) to Asian style (butcher and specialty for specific cutting). From the cheap toss-away-after-one use brand at Walmart to break-the-bank Global knives. It doesn't matter what type of knife I have, once I've sharpened the knife once, the steel continues to keep it razor sharp. I'm not joking about the razor part either. I recently became my own victim, among other friends and family members, of the "razor" aspect of my knives for being a bit careless in the kitchen. The moral learned is, "Don't have your kids hanging around the kitchen when you're busy cutting foods at a fast pace."

The stainless steel body matches all of my knives in the kitchen, including the Kapoosh stainless steel block for easy knife management. Never buy knives that has plastic handles. The food matters will bind onto the edges around the handle like magnets after a short usage period. The steel's body has no crack or edge opening that allows food/metal shaving pieces to get lodged into after long usages. The length of the sharpening steel is perfectly long enough to sharpen any knife cutting edge up to 8 inches in length with perfect honing. If you're quick and skillful, you can sharpen the knife up to 10 inches with proper wrist action.

If your knives are dull, best to invest in a good sharpener for the type of knives you have. For serrated knives, I use the Samurai Shark (cheap and very effective in sharpening cheap knives, cleavers, and anything that has an edge). For more expensive knives such as Henckles, Wusthof, Global, best to purchase the sharpener designed for those knives. My favorite has always been the Minosharp Plus for the rough and fine sharpening, and then use the steel to increase the sharpness even further and keep it for quite a long time. The sharpening diamond laced body on the steel is 600 grit. Most steels are in the 200 to 400. Quite rough on the fine cutlery. 600 grit is perfect to keep the sharp edges sharper. My Global knives were the last of my collection. I sharpen my knives with the steel after every use, and since my wife don't know how to use the steel well, I sharpen the knives after her every 5 usages. The edges are still razor sharp, just like when we first use the knives for the very first time. If there's a steel that has 800 or 1000 grit, I'll be one of the firsts to get it.

Trust me, it's an excellent investment to purchase a great steel for your fine cutlery. It may be a bit pricey as an initial investment, but saving that you will have using the steel to preserve your cherished cutlery is priceless. Where was this steel 10 years ago?

Just a word of warning. Try to stay away from cheap diamond coated steel, or even ceramic steel. Cheap diamond coated imitation and ceramic will ruin your blades rather than sharpening them since they're quite rough on the fine edges. It's like using sand paper to sharpen your edges versus using a good sharpening stone. This steel should be used as a baseline for all other diamond coated steel. Global's diamond coated steel is the best on the market so far, but way too pricey for an average cook like myself.

This is a great Steel. 4 swipes and my knives are back to peak condition!

Zyliss Cheese Knife with Inner Blade, Made of Stainless Steel

Zyliss Cheese Knife with Inner Blade, Made of Stainless SteelI bought this knife for a friend of mine for a Christmas present. He knows alot about cheese and good cheese knives i was hesitant giving him this since it cost me less then $10. All he can say is WOW. he was THRILLED about getting this since he lost a similar one in a divorce. He recommends this cheese knife to anyone. sometimes inexpensive isn't all that bad. He used it on hard and soft cheese and it works great. I would buy another one for a cheese lover if i had to

I bought this knife because I could cut a straight piece of cheese. It works great with hard cheeses . Soft cheeses do stick a bit to the knife they need a good chilling! It took some practice with big chunks of cheese as they are harder to hold . So far this is the best cheese knife I have found .

We really loved this knife. Great for cutting uniform slices of cheese.

However, it's very poorly made. After about 3 months of fairly infrequent use (maybe 5 uses), the handle just snapped in half in my hand. I wasn't even slicing a particularly hard cheese either.

This knife is sharp and cuts well but if you want to use the inner slicer, then beware! The inner cutting edge should be pointed the opposite direction because if you attempt to gain leverage or control by placing your had on the knife to press, that is on top of the outer blade. I'm tossing mine because I have stopped myself three times from pressing there and am afraid one of my kids my do it without realizing it and seriously cut their palm. It's too bad because it would have been an easily changed solution when engineering the knife.

You know how when you use a knife to cheese it always get bogged down and hard to cut? Not with this knife. This knife glides right thru the cheese. I like it. It don't get bogged down it glides thru the cut. It cuts thin. It don't seem to cut thick but it cuts easily thru the cheese.

Collapsible Lunch Box Large

Collapsible Lunch Box LargeI actually read about this container on a blog where it was suggested for traveling. I like to bring my own food when traveling (unless I am lucky enough to go to SFO) so as to avoid gross airport foodI thought this would be a great solution to pack food then store easily. However, I packed it full for a trip and found it exploded in my bag (the top popped off as the container began to collapse into itself with the food in it). I tried it again for work thinking this was a fluke, but it happened again. I contacted customer service and they were willing to accept it as a return.

IMCG Garlic Peeler - Yellow - Silicone

IMCG Garlic Peeler - Yellow - SiliconeI gave this as a gift to a bunch of friends. They have all stated that they love it.

Was looking for a peeler that actually worked and this one does. I am very happy that I found a peeler that eliminates the task of trying to get that first papery layer off of a clove of garlic. Wish I had gotten this one sooner.

This is a great tool to have in the kitchen. It peels garlic in a snap and is great for opening bottle tops, also. My first one melted in the dish washer, so don't put it in there, lol. It arrived on time and in excellent condition.
