Perfect! Washes up nicely in the dishwasher, makes cleaning the counter easy. I wish I had two or three, mine is always being used!

I just got this in the mail today, and after reading the reviews to see if it was normal to have a rounded corner on this product, I realized that I just received somebody else's returned defected product. I sincerely believe I received the returned product from "Jemarie Moiselle's" march 13 review from amazon. Additionally, it was packaged insecurely, sliding around the box. I am deeply disappointed because of its defect. Still deciding if it's even worth it to return an item like this at a cheaply priced item. You think that amazon.com would get rid of the product or return it to the manufacturer because of the defect? NO, instead they throw it back into the pool of inventory to make sales...that's so ridiculous!Want MIU France Stainless Steel Dough Scraper, 6-Inches Discount?
Not a whole lot to say here as it's just a dough scraper. It is very solid, gets the job done, and shows no sign of stain. I have no negatives about it thus far and am pleased with MIU's products overall.GardenSharp Tool Sharpener with Anti-Rust Oil Sharpening Tool for Pruning Shears Garden Tools Sciss

I bought this knife set as a gift for my husband for Christmas. We used them on steak and it cut the meat like butter. I had to compare it with our Henkel steak knives and there was no comparison how Guy's Knuckle Sandwich knives worked. Great purchase, very happy. This would make a great gift (just remember to include a penny [..])Norpro Jumbo Pastry Mat
I bought this in Feb. 2009, as of now had it for about a week. From the "correct" (non-ink) side, all the measurement marks are visible and quite usable, but the text is too blurry to make out. There are solid lines throughout the mat (instead of dotted lines or marks along the edges like most others), which is very nice.
The mat moves a bit when rolling I expected this since it's not a silicone mat it was a trade-off between non-slip and knife-friendly, and I opted for knife-friendly (which might've been a bad call, see next).
The mat is knife-friendly, but extremely heat sensitive. I think it's composed of 2 pieces of plastic pressed together and only glued at the edges, and the slightest contact with heat separates the layers and creates a big bubble. I threw about 1/2 cup of toasted walnuts on the mat and it immediately bubbled up (they weren't very hot, easily handled with bare hands). Once cooled down the mat returns to its original shape, but basically you can't put anything even mildly hot on it, which takes away some of the advantages of its knife-friendliness and also precludes leaving it on the counter semi-permanently. This is the main reason for my low rating, I would've given it at least 4 stars otherwise.I bought this for the measurements printed on mat. You can't read them on the roll out side. Is basically useless for what I wanted it for. If you try to roll out on the side with the print, the ink comes off in your dough.

The writing is on the underside of mat so it shows through very faintly as others have said. The recipes, grid and measurements are useless. Sample photo does not match product. This mat is wonderful, a perfect size for pie crusts, rolling out the biscuts, etc. All of our pastries have just slid off of it. The measurements, and wording are to faded to be able to see, and if you turn it over to the darker side, it's backwards. Other than that this thing is wonderful. It arrived in a HUGE flat box and stores nicely behind the microwave so I don't have to bend it. Very useful product to have aroundI like this pastry mat a lot. The only complaint, a fairly minor one, is that the material is a little more rigid than I would prefer, making it difficult to roll up for storage. Similarly, when it's unrolled for use it doesn't readily flatten out on the work surface. What I need to do is figure out a way to store it in its flat (unrolled) mode.... perhaps strong magnets on the side of the refrigerator.Oneida Flight 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4
I already had a service for 8 in the Oneida Flight pattern. I needed more. While I was washing my new silverware, I was disappointed to find that the quality is not the same as my original pieces. I checked and Oneida no longer makes their product in the United States. OK, I accept that. What bothers me more is the quality is not nearly the same. Especially, with the knives the weight and even the design is different. If you did not own any of the Flight pattern previously, you might be satisfied. I am not.I've owned this flatware for four years and have not been happy with the quality. All but the knives are thin guage metal. In fact, I've had to tell my children not to use the spoons for hard ice cream cups because they were bending. The surface has held up OK, with the exception of some minor marks from dishwasher detergents. I expected a better product from Oneida.Buy Oneida Flight 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4 Now
I forgot that I had put them on my wedding registry! So when I received a set of these as a wedding gift, I was pleasantly surprised. They have held up great throughout the years and I still absolutely love the simple, but elegant pattern to them. The butter knives are a good weight making them comfortable to use, I just wish they (the knives) didn't take up so much room in the silverware tray/drawer.Read Best Reviews of Oneida Flight 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4 Here
My husband and I registered for the Oneida flight pattern. We just celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary. I'm very happy with the weight of the product. Forks never bend, spoons only do a tad when I try to pry really really hard ice cream out of the container.. but I should really be using an ice cream dipper and not a spoon... so that's my fault. Showing a little wear... but I consider their wear perfectly acceptable. I am purchasing the Flight pattern for my inalws for Christmas.Want Oneida Flight 20-Piece Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 4 Discount?
I had this set already and was ordering an additional set to add too it. The knives are thinner and all the items had a big fat made in china stamped on it. I was very disappointed with it. They don't feel like as good of quality as my original set direct from Oneida. I would recommend ordering direct from the company because if you order here, you are not getting the same quality. I'm sure nobody else would notice the difference but me, however, it is really upsetting to know I could have gotten flatware that matched exactly what I already owned.Ginsu 5217 Koden Series Stainless Steel Open Stock 4-Piece Steak Knife Set
I've had several steak knife sets over the years with the typical boring black plastic handles that look cheap at the table setting before sitting down to dinner, so I wanted something nice for a change and these really fit the bill. I didn't want to spend a fortune either so when I saw these for under $15 locally last year I couldn't believe it and bought them on the spot. The handles are very smooth, sized well and really nice looking on the table, plus they cut amazingly smoothly with the dual serrated edge unlike the sawing edge most steak knives in this price range have. Guests always comment on how nice they slice and look so I'm very pleased with them. They are not dishwasher safe because of the high carbon steel used which keeps them so sharp plus firm, not flimsy as some steak knives are which is a good thing since hand washing and towel drying is normal for any quality cutlery, even this inexpensive and there is not a single spot of rust on any of them. Its great to have quality and value at the same time and with proper care these will keep on going for many many years to come. The manufacturer sent me these knives as a replacement for the "Ginsu Essential Series 4-Piece 4.5-Inch Stainless Steel Steak Knife Set with Triple Riveted Polymer Handles 4805" which developed rust spots not long after several uses... And lo and behold, these knives developed rust spots as well.I've sent back these knives and the replacement set also rusted... It got to a point where the manufacturer didn't even want me to send the bad knives back, so now I have 16 of these awful knives tucked away in my cupboard.
Maybe I can unload these knives on a passing circus or carnival.

This really is a beautiful knife: both the blade and the handle.Very sharp. Easily the sharpest knife I have ever bought. So sharp you can chop w/ it very easily just using your hand in an up and down motion w/ just wrist action. There is also enough curve to the blade to use it in a traditional rocking motion as you would w/ a chef's knife. The weight is wonderful.

I was not disapointed with these spoons. They are a good weight, not thin and flimsy. They are sturdy and not too long or short. When I was shopping for ice tea spoons I spent a lot of time comparing shipping weight and number of spoons to get an idea of how sturdy the spoons would be,and I was right. If you are looking for good ice tea spoons you will not go wrong here. The price is low, so you should know you're not buying top quality silverware. the teaspoons are not real teaspoons, they are more like baby spoons. The forks are for small people in other words the are too small. the dinner fork is really a salad fork and the salad fork is a smaller salad fork. Not really happy with the purchase but will live will live it. the pictures looked good but were deceiving in actual size. I will say that when I did get the wrong soup spoons they did get the order corrected. The Modern Space series by Taiwon Metal is a simple yet lovely pattern with a simple rounded end. It's sleek and simple design make it a perfect for either restaurant use or to accompany intricate and beautiful china and crystal. This set is more than good enough quality for the average home, and it seems sturdy enough to hold up even in restaurants for many years. It does need occasional polishing but doesn't seem to easily scratch or bend. The weakest part of this set is the absence of a few pieces: Appetizer Knife, Butter Spreader , and Bouillon Spoon (all of which are offered in the Baguette design) and a Fruit Fork, Fruit Knife, Fruit/Citrus Spoon, Oyster Fork (with three prongs), and Salt Spoon which are not offered in any of the Taiwon Metal patterns. But that only highlights exactly how perfect this set is for multi-course meals or restaurants with different dishes. One can easily built a 7-12-course meal with this set.

Lipper International Cheese Server with Lift Out Round Board & Steel Knife, Bamboo
This cheese board is just perfect for what it is meant for. Having the removable insert is a very nice feature. I am not quitesure what the other reviewer was complaining about with regards to the packaging, it was

I needed something cheap that didn't take up a lot of space, and they were really sharp out of the box. Probably throw them out in a year or two.Home Styles 5023-95 Wood Top Kitchen Cart with Breakfast Bar, Natural Finish
I purchased one of these a couple of years ago. It has provided much more than I could have asked for the price paid.My kitchen is rather small with little work space. I needed a place to knead bread and do other things but also needed it to roll out of the way when not needed. This island turned out to be perfect. It does require a bit of assembly. Took me about 90 minutes. The result was a handsome & functional island in unfinished rubberwood. You can finish it with most stains or wood finishes but I would recommend leaving the countertop unfinished. More sanitary & easier to keep clean. (Yes, handled properly, wood is every bit as sanitary as plastic, stone, or metal. Keep ALL liquids off of it!)
It's sturdy enough for hard kitchen use. I have pounded meat on it (on a cutting board) and beat bread dough to death. I have also used it as an impromptu breakfast bar & even rolled it onto the patio to use as a dry bar once. Worked wonderfully. But it really shines as a place to slice. dice, chop & mix. And it's the best bread board I've ever had. (NOTE: DO NOT USE A KNIFE ON THE WOOD!! Put a cutting board down to protect the surface.) It even holds 3 separate, operating machines (bread machine, slow cooker, & my large Kitchen-Aid stand mixer)& still leaves a good working area. The back leaf folds down & reduces the storage space when you need to roll it out of the way.
The only shortcomings (and they are minor) is the depth of the storage. The cabinets are not deep enough to store large pans. You can get two 1 gal. water/milk jugs back to back & that's about it. Also the drawers are too short & too shallow to store long items like ladles, cooking spoons, & butcher knives. A silverware tray won't fit. Also when assembling, stagger the 2 lockable wheels on opposite corners. Otherwise the island will pivot when pushed.
If you need working space for a small kitchen & don't want spend big bucks, this is the island to buy. After seeing mine & how I use it, several friends bought one too.We recieved this item shortly after we ordered it. Unfortunately two pieces were damaged during shipment and had to contact the company to have replacement pieces sent. They were shipped quickly and without hassle. Assembly went fairly smoothly and we ended up with a pretty decent cart/island with good storage space. It looks good in our kitchen and doesn't look flimsy or cheap. We feel like we got a good deal for the money.

I am not an impulsive shopper, & saved this in my wish list for about a year while I looked for similar carts that I might like better. This was the winner, & I finally took the plunge & ordered it. I have an old house, & the kitchen has very limited workspace, so this cart was badly needed. It arrived within about a week, no damage, & assembly was fast. Directions were accurate & clear, & there were extras on each piece of hardware. No nasty surprises anywhere. The cart is very attractive, holds my small appliances & gadgets, & with the breakfast bar up provides a large workspace. I am very pleased with this purchase, & there are only 2 reasons I did not give it a 5 star rating. 1) While it is all wood, no particle board or worse, the top is made of pieces of solid wood instead of full length boards. They are put together pretty well, but the joints are visible. And 2) the tool caddy is primarily a knife rack, which I don't need. I may use the router to enlarge the space to hold other kitchen tools, or I may just remove the top. All in all, a really nice product. This product was just what I needed in my new kitchen. It arrived within a week, and unlike some other reviews, it did have the wood top as advertised vs. a stainless steel. It only took a little over an hour to assemble, which is great compared to other types of do-it-yourself assembly. It gave me the extra storage I was looking for while giving me some seating in a kitchen where a table just won't work. I'm very happy with this purchase.Want Home Styles 5023-95 Wood Top Kitchen Cart with Breakfast Bar, Natural Finish Discount?
I bought this cart online from the military exchange (PX) because I did not have to pay for shipping. Other than that,it appears to be the same product and I think it warrants a rating. Here goes:Packing: The items in the box were WELL protected with a lot of padding and protection. There were a few dings on the box, but the pieces were not damaged at all.
Assembly: I was keen to get this put together so I started alone. After 1.5 hours, it was almost done! My husband joined and it took one more hour. NOTE: we thought we were almost done and found that we had to assemble the drawers (we thought they were pre-assembled). And, we made a few correctable mistakes, but that meant we had to do a few things over (we are not handymen!).
Instructions: Simple, very clear and easy to follow.
Finished product: Very sturdy and looks great!
Other:
1. Be CAREFUL! The counter top wood is sensitive and can be easily dinged!
2. It's not very bigthe middle cabinet has our deep fryer in it. Can hold another item similar to that and maybe a smaller appliance on each shelf (there are two). The two side cabinets (very skinny) hold a blender, extra coffee pot carafe, and maybe other small items.
3. Don't see me using the knife block, but it still put it oncould easily be removed (as the towel holder can be removed).
Summary: The cart looks GREAT. I also plan on using it as a drink cart/bar for an upcoming party! Highly recommended!
Rada Cutlery Starter Set, 7 Pc Boxed Gift Set, Made in USA
Fancy an all-metal set of knives? Tired of cheaply made knife sets made from crappy steel? Is made in America important to you? Not impressed with the cuts you get from "permanent edge" knives? This set of Rada knives is made in Iowa, and has a knife or tool for almost any task the ordinary cook will face. It feels a little light in the hand at first because the handle is aluminum but the balance is right on. The handle also has a "brushed" finish which helps with the grip
I would definitely recommend this set, and also the "steel wheels" sharpener, which really simplifies a task I've always had difficulty with.
It is shipped in a box that is nice for gift giving and storage. My husband loves to cook so I purchased this set of Rada (Made in USA) Knives for him. These are absolutely the best knives we've ever used. The Cook's Knife is our absolute favorite and Rada makes the sharpest and best veggie peeler I've ever seen. These knives are truly amazing to have such a low price point. Anyone who is a chef or who loves to cook would be amazed at the sharpness of these knives. Please be careful with them though, because they are like razor blades. I'm surprised the folks at the Food Network haven't talked about these knives.
The knives are very, very lightweight, but they do the job! The Rada Company is very impressive, to be able to make such a quality product at such a low price. It's also nice to buy a product that's actually Made in America instead of Made in China.

I can't believe the superb quality of these knives. My first piece of Rada cutlery was the short bread knife, which I bought from an online retailer known for selling only the best cook's equipment. I did wonder, though, how a good knife could cost so little compared to the cost of the big-brand-name knives. Well, I was so impressed with the precision slices the bread knife made that I decided to buy from Amazon.com the 7-piece starter set, the 7-piece starter set part 2, the French chef's knife, the chef's dicer, the carver boner, the large bread knife, and the sharpener. Now my whole kitchen is Rada knives, and I have every knife I ever need. Rada knives are the only ones I use now. The knives are extremely sharp and cut with precision. (I have cut myself a couple of times as I get accustomed to the sharpness.) They are light but feel solid in the hand. The brushed aluminum handles give a good grip and look good, too. I also like that they are made in the USA. This is the best purchase I have made in a long time!Read Best Reviews of Rada Cutlery Starter Set, 7 Pc Boxed Gift Set, Made in USA Here
This knife set has confused me every since it arrived.I really wanted to like this knife set more. They do cut nicely, but I just don't know. I wish Amazon had half-star increments, as I would have put this at 3.5.
Too start off with, I was under-impressed when they arrived. I don't know if is just Rada's new handles, as I haven't used their standard aluminum ones, but to be blunt they look like something bought from a "dollar store." This led to me thinking, "I have been had..." They just look so cheap. Small, thin handles do nothing to help them out. These things aren't something I want to display on my counter, they will stay in their box, hidden in a drawer. After using them I really would like larger handles for my long hands.
Now I will say they are anything but blunt they are very sharp and cut much better than my previous knives. It was a night and day difference between my old knives, which even after sharping were nowhere near these Radas.
Well to finish off, here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
Made in USA (Huge for me)
Nice variety in this starter set
Very sharp
Cons:
Aesthetics
Ergonomics
I like my random vegetable peeler much better than this Rada, it's too small and when peeling potatoes, constantly left pieces in the blades which prevented peeling without pulling out the peels with my hand. This will be a backup.
I am glad I purchased them, but I was expecting a little more out of them. I know my review sounds more on the negative side, but they do cut very well and they are U.S. made, which I feel is important in our current economy.

I own Henckels, Sabatier, Wusthof, Shun and Chicago Cutlery knives. They are all good but the best blade--up to now--was the Shun. That was up to now. Since buying the Rada knives, we simply don't use the others. The blades sharpen literally to a razor edge, they hold that edge and if they dull a little, they hone nicely and easily to recover their sharpness. I have not used the Rada sharpener, so I can't attest to how well it works. We use a sharpening steel, which works wonders. I simply can't believe the value of these knives! All of the others we own are top shelf, not the cheap consumer versions, and these blew them away. The German and Japanese knives each cost more than twice what this entire set cost. I feel like a fool for spending that kind of money on those knives. Why don't people know about this company? The knives are just amazing. We bought them because my wife had a Rada pairing knife inherited by her mother, which we loved but which was accidentally thrown away by a houseguest. When I went looking of an "aluminum handle" knife (I did not know the Rada name), I found these and they were so reasonably priced I bought a set. Best value purchase I have made in years. Try them and you won't believe it; you simply won't believe how fantastic these are.Open Frame Dish Rack with Bamboo Knife Block in Clear
dish rack comes with 4 plastic "knobs" so you can elevate certain corners to get the rack to tilt any way you need. The plastic, metal & wood look amazing. Very modern & sleek with all the functionality.
Because of the open concept of it, I find that my dishes dry quicker. I can also find several ways to fit dishes, I'm not confined to the walls of the dish rack like with many other designs.
The drainage spout on the bottom swivels-I don't have to use the dish rack ONE way.
Wooden block to hold knives puts me at ease! I'm not worried about the sharp edges touching anything when drying.
*I love this product, I am so happy I spent the money on it. I don't have a lot of money to blow on household things, but it's worth the investment. It sits on my counter in plain view everyday & it doesn't take away from the look of my kitchen. There is nothing worse than a beautiful kitchen with a big ugly plastic dish rack sitting in the middle of it.I purchased Open Frame Dishrack Stainless Steel last month. After using the dish rack for a few weeks, we found water leaking from the bottom of the channel waterway where
it is designed to catch the water and drain it to the sink. We though it might be a defective product so we returned it and replaced it with the same Open Frame Dishrack Stainless Steel. However, again....the water leaks from the same waterway section of the new dish rack. I spoke with customer support and they told me that they cannot fix the problem. If you do not want to go through the same hassle, I recommend to purchase another brand.

I have been looking for a great dishrack and this one has met all my expectations. First my sink has a big lip so I need a dishrack with a drain that would go over the lip and after installing the optional feet that came with it this one does. Second all surfaces are tilted toward the drain so no standing water!! Plus it holds a ton of stuff. The knife block is very nice and will fit in most parts of the silverware section. This is replacing a Kitchenaid Dishrack that looked great but was basically flat so there was always standing water that would end up getting slimy. This one is a MUCH better design really love it!!Read Best Reviews of Open Frame Dish Rack with Bamboo Knife Block in Clear Here
I have used this for about 3 months now, no more messy countertop or nasty forever wet towel. I have seen no rust on any of the metal, I think the bamboo knife holder keeps my knives sharper and like the title states, the drain that can be aimed back into your sink is sweet.I wish It was able to hold more cups, would hold cups higher up so there is no contact on the lip (sometimes leaves a funny water mark) and I have friends that complain they can's stack as many larger items in it.

Ginsu Kotta Open Stock Series 4-Piece Japanese 420J2 Stainless Steel Steak Knife Set with Limited L
I purchased a set of these knives between three to four years ago and am just now noticing that they are getting dull. However, I have put 'heavy'/daily use on them and until now they have been the best knives that I have ever had! Considering the price of the knives and how long they last with heavy performance, I still think that they are a great buy and I am going to purchase another set. I should be more descriptive and add that my knives used to cut flawlessly through a tomato but now I have to push in hard and make deep depressions into the tomato before they will pierce the skin. So they will still cut through steak and vegetables, just not like they did when they were new. I have also washed them in a dishwasher and also by hand and never have they rusted. I hope that this review helps someone out!I'd been dealing with a steak knife set that I hadn't been happy with for a while. Remembering how well the original Ginsu knives had worked, I did some searching and came across this stainless steel set. I took the plunge and ordered a dozen knives, at this price if they were garbage, I'd throw them out. They arrived today and I must say I was quite impressed at the look and feel of them. They have a heftiness to them I was glad to feel, unlike the lightweight set I was about to discard. I tested them on some leftover steak I had in the fridge....they cut it like butter! I'm delighted beyond belief. Sure you can spend 10 times this amount on steak knives, but I doubt you will find ones that do the job better. Looks, feel, quality and a bargin basement price. Trust me!After the knives I was using all broke, I needed new every day cooking/dining knives. The knives I was replacing had a micro serration design but not as aggressive as my good set that I will describe shortly. I wanted a low cost and durable knife that performed as good as the knives I was replacing. Let me describe my good set, the benchmark I use to compare knives. The best thing I can compare with is a knife set is I've had for over ten years and still performs great, but I can't seem to find this type any more. This is the knife design I rate all knives I've used against and none have been better. This knife is called TechKnife Classic made by Mendix(have been bought I suspect). These knives have a one side micro serrated edge within macro serrations that appear to be computer optimized in some way because its a very complex multiplexed serration. These knives don't "chop" but rather "saw" food. I routinely and consistently slice onion slices 1-2mm thick and tomato slices 2-4mm thick without even thinking about it. This design will 'saw' through raw beef round roast like bread, but I notice fat will accumulate within the complex serration design and have to be pulled out occasionally. If some one knows where to obtain this design, please reply. But onto to my purchase experience.
First I bought a set of Oneida solid SS single sided serrated steak knives. I was impressed at first of how sharp they appeared to be, but once I used them I realized a single edge common serration design performed poorly to my other knives of past. Onion slices were ragged and the slicing was difficult to control. Tomatoes were much better, but again meat had a torn not sliced quality about it. I took those back.
Then I tried the Ginsu model above. Even though the knives performance was still slightly below the TechKnife design, they actually beat or meet the other micro serration knives I was replacing even thought the blade thickness is a little thinner than I like. Onions are good at 3mm, tomatoes the same. Meat cuts rather cleanly also. I attribute the performance to the fact that even though the serration is a unique take on a conventional serration, both sides of the knife are serrated allowing for very clean cuts. As the knives dull, I would imagine they would still cut rather good because of this also. I would say look no farther for low cost, high performance cutlery for everyday use.
Now I never used a supposedly really good non-serrated blade that can be re-sharpened (mainly because I can't see paying hundreds of dollars for strips of stainless steel), but anything that I had passed down to me of that type performed rather poorly. Granted they may have needed sharpening, but I really can't see investing in a whole knife laboratory to to keep sharp knifes when obviously a technology exists to make really, really good knives that perform quite well for ten years, before you throw them away. I don't believe my good knife set cost more than $100 at the time.Product was very good. Cuts well, looks good, and knives have good weight to them. The Ginsu website says the blades are made of commercial quality, stain & rust resistant, 420 J2 stainless steel that is well-known for it's sharpness and strength. The steel tang extends into the handle.
Of course these aren't the best steak knives on the market, but they are affordable and get the job done. The serrated blades never need sharpening...a plus for me because I always make knives duller when I try to sharpen them. I was surprised to find the knives are a little bit heavy. With 5 months use, I haven't had any problems with rust. I even put them in the dishwasher. I'm satisfied with my purchase.
